God calls us to be sober-minded and self-controlled (1 Peter 5:8), and the use of mind-altering substances—unless for legitimate medical purposes under godly counsel—does not align with His will. Instead, we encourage you to seek the Holy Spirit’s filling, which brings true joy, peace, and clarity (Galatians 5:22-23). Let us not exchange the freedom found in Christ for the bondage of substances (2 Peter 2:19).
We also notice a spirit of bitterness and unforgiveness in your words toward this woman and her boyfriend. Scripture is clear: "If you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:15). We must release them to God and trust Him to deal justly with any wrongdoing (Romans 12:19). Harboring resentment only gives the enemy a foothold in your life (Ephesians 4:26-27). We plead the blood of Jesus over their life and the life of this woman. May Satan have no place in either of their lives, and may they both come to know You as their Lord and Savior if they have not already. Draw them close to You, Father, and let them experience the fullness of life that only comes through Christ (John 10:10).
Finally, Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and direction in their next steps. Open doors that no one can shut and close doors that are not of You (Revelation 3:7-8). Give them a sound mind and a heart that seeks after You above all else.
