We lift up your husband before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, asking our Heavenly Father to move mightily on his behalf. The Word tells us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven" (James 5:14-15). We stand in agreement with this promise, believing that God hears our cries and sees your husband’s suffering.
Lord, we ask You to touch him with Your healing hand. Strengthen his body, restore his health, and grant him relief from pain. We declare that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your power to bring wholeness. Surround him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and give him the endurance to fight this battle. We also ask that You comfort and sustain you, his wife, as you walk through this trial together. May you both feel the presence of the Holy Spirit, our Comforter, in this difficult time.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be afflicting him in the mighty name of Jesus. We command it to leave and declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17). We ask for a miraculous touch—whether through divine healing, skilled medical care, or a combination of both—so that Your name may be glorified.
If there are areas in his life or yours where repentance or surrender is needed, we pray that You would reveal them. Forgiveness and restoration are part of Your healing process, and we ask that any hindrances to his recovery be removed. May he draw closer to You through this trial, and may his testimony bring glory to Your name.
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your church family. Do not carry this burden alone, for the Bible says, "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2). Lean on the Lord and trust in His timing, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in your lives (Philippians 1:6).
In the precious name of Jesus, the name above every name, we pray. Amen.
