Health anxiety

Heavenly Father,
We come before You today on behalf of ###, who is struggling with health anxiety and finding it difficult to surrender these worries to You. Lord, we know that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You surround ### with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding the heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, Your Word tells us to cast all our anxieties on You because You care for us (1 Peter 5:7). Help ### to trust in Your unfailing love and to rest in the assurance that You are in control. May Your perfect love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18), and may ### find comfort in Your presence.
Lord, we also pray for ###'s health. You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon ###'s body. Give wisdom to any medical professionals involved and guide them in their care. Strengthen ###'s faith, knowing that You knit each of us together in our mother's womb and that we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:13-14).

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
