I hear your prayer for health and renewed strength, and I am joining you in bringing it to Jesus. The heat and broken sleep have left you weary, and it is hard to be functional when your body is fatigued and your nights are restless. The Lord knows this need and He cares for you in it.
Scripture says the Lord is our light and our salvation, and the strength of our lives. When we trust Him, we do not need to live in fear. He is our shield and our fortress, our place of strength and protection. One psalm says the Lord will give strength to His people and bless His people with peace. Another says, my heart trusted in Him and I am helped, therefore my heart greatly rejoices. That is my prayer for you, that His Word would become your portion and your strength, and that He would fill you with His peace even as you wait on Him.
The Bible also pictures this protection so beautifully. In the ancient fields a shepherd would make an enclosure of thorn bushes for the sheep, with only one opening, and he himself would lie down in that opening. No sheep could wander out and no wolf could come in without passing over the shepherd. Jesus said of Himself that He is the door. When you ask for His mighty protecting covering through His blood, you are asking to dwell in that secret place of the Most High, under His watch. He keeps you while you sleep and while you wake. He delivers from the snare and guards those who trust in Him.
So I pray for you now, that the Lord Himself would restore your energy and strengthen your body. Ask Him to settle your sleep and to renew you as you rest, so you wake refreshed and able to do what is needed. I pray He will give you clear minds and steady strength for the appointments you mentioned, and that you will sense His hand upon you, keeping you through each day. May He lift you up when you feel worn down, and may His peace guard your hearts as you look to Him.
Father, in the name of Jesus, give strength to Your children who are weary from heat and sleeplessness. Bless them with Your peace, cover them with Your protection, and let them know Your presence as their shield and their help. Keep them in Your care and make Your Word their strength. Amen.
