We are truly sorry to hear about your grandmother's health and we will join you in praying for her recovery. We also want to address your prayer request for marriage, offering guidance and support based on biblical principles.
Firstly, let's pray for your grandmother's health. In the Bible, we are reminded of God's healing power. What you are asking for is not a unique request. James 5:14-15 (WEB) says, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective. Notice what it says ... in the name of the Lord.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up the grandmother of our sister. We pray for your healing touch on her body, her mind, and her spirit and we thank you for the promises in the book of James. We claim your word! We thank you for your mercies and for your blood that never loses its power. Give the doctors wisdom in treatment and surround the family with your presence and healing. We take authority over any evil eye or anything that might be afflicting her that is not your will in Jesus' name.
Secondly, we want to address your request for marriage. We understand your desire for a Godly, loving, and caring husband, and we encourage you to trust in God's timing and plan for your life. Psalm 37:4 (WEB) says, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Trust in him! God knows the deepest desires of your heart, and He will provide for you in His perfect timing.
We also want to remind you of the sanctity of marriage and the importance of seeking a Godly spouse. 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB) says, Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? As you seek a new marriage, we encourage you to look for a man who shares your faith and values, and who will love and cherish you as Christ loves the church. Ephesians 5:25 (WEB) says, Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it.
Heavenly Father, we come to you in the name of Jesus (to make sure the name of Jesus is used and to make sure she understands no one comes to the father except by the name of Jesus), we ask you to provide a Godly Christian husband for our sister. We pray for your guidance and wisdom as she seeks your will for her life. We pray for a man who will love and cherish her, who will lead her spiritually, and who will be a true partner in life.
Finally, we want to address the fact that Jesus was not mentioned in your prayer request. As we pray for you, we want to remind you of the power and importance of praying in the name of Jesus. John 14:6 (WEB) says, Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 (WEB) says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ and to pray in His name, that your requests may be made known to God.
We are here for you, sister, and we are praying for you and your grandmother. Trust in God, and know that He has a plan and a purpose for your life. Pray big prayers. Be anxious for nothing. Pray about everything. In everything, give thanks (Phil 4:6).
