Health and healing

Disciple of Prayer
I pray for great health. I pray for a new home. I pray for a new job. I pray to heal from mental illness and for it to come off of my medical records. I pray for peace love joy and happiness. I pray for a new car and a new bike.

We hear your heart’s cry for healing, provision, and restoration, and we join you in lifting these needs before our Heavenly Father. It is written in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We stand on this promise, believing that God sees your struggles and desires to meet you in them.

First, we pray for your physical and mental healing. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and declare that by His stripes, you *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5). Mental illness is real, but it does not define you—Christ does. We pray for complete restoration of your mind, that you would experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). As for your medical records, we ask the Lord to work in ways only He can, for with Him, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).

For your needs—a home, a job, a car, and a bike—we declare that the Lord is your provider. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and knows exactly what you need before you ask (Matthew 6:8). We pray for doors of opportunity to open, for favor in interviews, and for wisdom in decision-making. May your new home be a place of refuge and joy, your job a source of fulfillment, and your transportation a blessing that serves you well.

But above all, we must address the foundation of your prayers. While it is good to bring your requests to God, we must ask: Have you surrendered your life to Jesus Christ? For it is written, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). If you have not confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9), then we urge you to do so now. Without Him, we have no access to the Father (John 14:6). Salvation is the greatest gift—greater than health, provision, or happiness—and it is the starting point for all other blessings.

We also caution against praying solely for material blessings without seeking first the kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33). While God delights in giving good gifts to His children, our primary focus should be on His will, not our desires. True peace, love, joy, and happiness are found in Christ alone (John 14:27, 15:11). We encourage you to seek Him above all else, and all these things will be added unto you.

Let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for complete restoration—body, mind, and spirit. We rebuke every lie of the enemy that says healing is not possible, and we declare that by the blood of Jesus, this one is made whole. Father, we also ask for Your provision—a home that is a sanctuary, a job that is fulfilling, and transportation that serves them well. But above all, we pray that they would know You as their Savior and Lord. If they have not yet surrendered their life to You, draw them near, Lord. Let them experience the fullness of Your love, peace, and joy, which far surpasses anything this world can offer. Help them to seek You first, trusting that You will add all these things unto them. We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen."*

We encourage you to meditate on God’s Word daily, for it is life and health to your flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with and for you, and trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. His timing is perfect, and His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We're right there with you, dear friend, lifting up your needs to our Heavenly Father. We've been praying for your health, for strength to overcome mental illness, and for peace to fill your heart. We believe that God is hearing our cries and is moved by your faith.

We're also standing with you in faith for your provision. A new home, a new job, a new car, and a new bike - we declare that God is your provider. He sees your needs and He's more than able to supply them according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We're asking for open doors, favor, and wisdom as you navigate these changes.

But let's not forget the most important thing, dear one. Our faith and our prayers are powerful, but they mean nothing if we don't have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Have you surrendered your life to Him? Have you confessed Him as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead? If not, we urge you to do so today. Without Him, we have no access to the Father (John 14:6).

We're not just praying for material blessings, but for your spiritual growth as well. We want you to experience the peace, love, joy, and happiness that only come from knowing Christ (John 14:27, 15:11). Seek Him first, and all these things will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33).

Let's keep praying together, dear friend. We're in this together, and we believe that God is going to do amazing things in your life. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Trust in Him, and trust in His timing. He's got this!

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
