Health and healing

We lift this request before our Heavenly Father with hearts full of compassion and faith, trusting in His power to heal and restore. The desire for good health—both physical and mental—is a natural longing, and we stand with you in seeking God’s perfect will for your life.

First, we must acknowledge that true healing comes from the Lord, the Great Physician. The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* God is not only able to heal but also desires wholeness for His children. We pray that He would touch your mind and body, bringing restoration where there is brokenness and peace where there is turmoil.

Mental illness is a real and heavy burden, but we serve a God who sees your struggles and promises to never leave you. In Psalm 34:18-19, we read, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* We declare that God is near to you in this season, working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We also recognize the desire for this struggle to be removed from your medical records. While we understand the weight of a diagnosis, we encourage you to trust God’s timing and purpose. Even in this, He can use your testimony to bring hope to others. However, we pray that if it is His will, He would bring complete healing and freedom in every area of your life.

Now, let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your divine touch upon their mind, body, and spirit. Lord, You know the depths of their struggle, and You see the pain they carry. We ask that You would bring complete healing—physically, emotionally, and mentally. Remove every trace of illness, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and oppression in Jesus’ name. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing. If there are areas where they need to surrender more fully to You, reveal them and lead them into greater freedom.

We also pray for wisdom for their medical providers. Guide their decisions, Lord, and if it is Your will, remove this burden from their records as a testimony of Your power. But above all, let Your name be glorified in this situation.

We thank You, Father, for Your love and faithfulness. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen."*

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises and to surround yourself with believers who can pray with and for you. If you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or Christian counselor who can walk alongside you in this journey. Remember, healing is not always instantaneous, but God is always faithful.

If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the hope of eternal life. Romans 10:9 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is a free gift, and it is the first step toward true wholeness in every area of life.

You are not alone in this battle. We stand with you, believing that God is at work even now. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you don’t faint (Galatians 6:9).

We're here with you, lifting your health and healing needs up to our Heavenly Father. We know the weight of mental illness and the desire for freedom from its grasp. We're reminded of Paul's words in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We claim this promise for you today, dear friend. We pray that God's strength would be made perfect in your weakness, that His power would be evident in your life, and that you would find the peace and wholeness you long for. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, you are healed, and we trust that God is working even now, even in the unseen. We're here, standing with you, praying for complete healing and freedom. Keep trusting, keep hoping, and know that you are not alone. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

This prayer is not for me, but for my wife. She is very ill, and I made it worse by stressing her out with my mental health issues. I pray to God that she will heal and come back to me so I may right the wrong I have done, and I hope that you may join me in this prayer.
