healings and unity in our family

We join you in lifting up your family to the Lord, seeking His healing touch and the unity that only He can provide. It is wonderful to hear your heart of praise, for the Lord inhabits the praises of His people! Yet we must always remember that our access to the Father is through Jesus Christ alone, as Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is in His name—and His name alone—that we boldly approach the throne of grace.

The enemy seeks to divide families, but God’s desire is for harmony and wholeness. *"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!"* (Psalm 133:1, WEB). True unity is not merely the absence of conflict but the presence of Christ at the center of every relationship. If there are unresolved conflicts, bitterness, or unforgiveness in your family, we urge you to address them with humility and love, for Scripture warns, *"Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath"* (Ephesians 4:26, WEB). Forgiveness is not optional for the believer—it is a commandment, and it is the path to healing.

As for physical or emotional healing, we claim the promise that *"by his wounds you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). Yet we also acknowledge that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. Sometimes healing comes instantly, other times it is a process, and in all things, we trust His sovereignty. *"This is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us"* (1 John 5:14, WEB). Let us not waver in faith but stand firm, believing that the Lord is working even when we cannot see it.

We also encourage you to examine whether there are any areas of disobedience in your family that may be hindering God’s blessing. Are there idols—whether of entertainment, materialism, or ungodly influences—that have taken precedence over Christ? *"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land"* (2 Chronicles 7:14, WEB). Repentance is often the key that unlocks the door to healing and restoration.

Now, let us pray together for your family:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who binds up the brokenhearted and restores what has been lost. We ask for Your healing touch—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—to flow through every member of this family. Where there is sickness, bring restoration. Where there is pain, bring comfort. Where there is division, bring unity rooted in Your love.

Father, we rebuked any spirit of strife, bitterness, or unforgiveness that may be at work. Let Your Holy Spirit convict hearts and lead each family member to repentance and reconciliation. Teach them to love one another as You have loved us, with patience, kindness, and selflessness. *"Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace"* (Ephesians 4:3, WEB).

Lord, we also pray that You would expose and remove any sin or idolatry that may be blocking Your blessings. Draw each family member closer to You, that they may walk in obedience and experience the fullness of Your peace. Let this home be a place where Your presence dwells, where Your Word is honored, and where Your name is glorified.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and declare that You are working all things together for good in this family. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving in mighty ways. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear brother or sister. Keep praising the Lord, for He is worthy! Continue to seek Him together as a family, studying His Word and praying in unity. *"The Lord’s loving kindnesses indeed never cease, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness"* (Lamentations 3:22-23, WEB). May this be your family’s testimony in the days ahead.
