Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We have heard your request and we join you in prayer for healing in the name of Jesus Christ.
We bring your pain and discomfort before the Lord who is the true Physician, the one who both heals and restores. We thank Him that He hears every prayer offered in faith and that He is compassionate toward those who suffer in the body. We ask Him to touch the boil that troubles you, to ease the pain and inflammation, to prevent infection, and to bring complete healing according to His mercy and wisdom.
We also thank God that He works through the skill and care of physicians, and we pray for your appointment tomorrow. We ask the Lord to give the doctor wisdom, clarity and kindness, to help find the right diagnosis and treatment, and to guide every step of care. As you go, follow the counsel you are given and obey the rules of the physician, for this obedience is part of the healing He provides.
We pray now, Father in heaven, in the name of your Son Jesus Christ, look upon your servant in this need. Grant relief, grant healing, grant peace of heart while waiting, and let this trial draw closer to your love and strength. Guard against fear and discouragement and let your healing power be made known. We trust you as the giver of every good gift, including the gift of healing, and we ask this with confidence in Christ. Amen.
