We join you in lifting up your wife and your daughter before our Holy God in heaven, and we thank you for coming boldly in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved and heard. Acts 4:12 reminds us there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, and John 14:6 tells us Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him, so we rejoice that you have prayed in His name.
We hear the heaviness of your heart as you ask God to reverse and restore what the enemy has stolen and to bring healing so your wife can walk again and your daughter can be made whole. We stand with you against the works of Satan, for the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly as seen in John 10:10. We cling to the promise of Joel 2:25 that God can restore the years that the locust has eaten, and Proverbs 6:31 that when the thief is found he must restore sevenfold, and we ask our Father to bring restoration according to His perfect will and mercy.
We pray for your wife and daughter with faith in our Great Physician. We remember that Psalm 103:2-3 says to bless Yahweh and not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, and that Jeremiah 30:17 declares I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also hold to Isaiah 53:5 that by his wounds we are healed, and to Exodus 15:26 where the Lord says I am Yahweh who heals you. We know that healing comes in God's timing and according to His sovereign wisdom, and that even when healing is not immediate, His grace and presence sustain us, for Romans 8:28 assures us that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
We also gently encourage you regarding asking for unconditional blessing. God's love and salvation through Christ are freely given by grace through faith as in Ephesians 2:8, yet Scripture teaches that many of God's blessings and His healing work in our lives are experienced as we walk in obedience, faith, and trust in Him. James 5:15 says the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and James 5:16 reminds us the insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. This calls us to continue in faith, repentance, prayer, and obedience while trusting His perfect plan, even when we do not understand His timing.
We pray together now for you and your family.
Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of this husband and father, his beloved wife, and their daughter. Lord, You see their suffering and You hear their cries. We ask that You lay Your healing hand upon this wife that she may walk again according to Your will, strengthen her body, restore her nerves, muscles, and bones, and give wisdom to every doctor and caregiver who attends to her. We ask that You touch this precious daughter and heal her completely, body, mind, and spirit, and let her feel Your comforting presence. Psalm 147:3 says You heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds, so we ask You to heal not only their bodies but their hearts from discouragement and weariness. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us not to be afraid for You are with us, so we ask You to replace fear with peace and to restore sevenfold what the enemy has meant for harm, for Your glory. Grant this family increased faith, patience, and hope, provide for their needs, and let Your will be done in their lives as it is in heaven. We ask all this in the name above all names, Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with other believers, and to continue seeking appropriate medical care while trusting the Lord as your ultimate healer. Keep bringing your petitions before Him daily, for Lamentations 3:22-23 tells us His mercies are new every morning and great is His faithfulness. We are standing with you and believing God for His mercy, restoration, and healing in your household.
