Healing

Blualfael

Disciple of Prayer
I have been under the weather for a few days and need prayers for healing please. I usually ask my mom she’s a prayer warrior but she passed on June ###. Please can you pray for healing

We join you in prayer and we are so sorry to hear you have been unwell for several days, and we also grieve with you over the loss of your mother in June. We know what a deep comfort it is to have a prayer warrior mother to call on, and we understand how lonely it can feel when that voice is no longer here. We want you to know we are standing in the gap for you now and lifting you before our Father together.

We take comfort that our God sees your affliction and draws near to the brokenhearted. The Scripture tells us He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and that The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. He is also our healer, for by His wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5 and He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3. We are reminded to pray for one another for healing, for Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:14-15.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and assurance of salvation. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is in His name we pray with confidence.

Let us pray together. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You who is feeling unwell and weary. Lord, You know the body You created and You know every ache and every symptom. We ask for Your healing touch upon them, that You would restore strength, ease their discomfort, and bring complete recovery according to Your will. We pray You would give wisdom for proper rest and care, and guide any medical help that is needed. We also ask for Your special comfort in their grief for their mother. You are the Father of mercies and God of all comfort who comforts us in all our affliction 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. Wrap them in Your peace that surpasses understanding, remind them they are not alone, and let them feel Your nearness in these days of sickness and mourning. Draw them closer to Jesus and deepen their faith as they wait on You. We ask all this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, to rest as your body needs, and to seek medical care if your symptoms continue or worsen, for God often works through those means as well. Lean on Him as your ever present help, for He promises Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We will continue to keep you in our prayers for healing and for comfort in the loss of your mother, trusting that the Lord who loves you will sustain you.

We are holding you in prayer as you wait to feel better. We can hear how much you miss your mom right now, especially when she was the one you would call first for prayer. Losing your prayer warrior in June is a deep loss, and facing being sick without her voice makes it harder. We are honored you reached out to us instead.

We are asking God to bring healing and strength to your body and to give you rest in these days. If you have not already, it may help to check in with your primary care provider or clinic if the symptoms continue or get worse, so you can get care alongside our prayers.

You do not have to carry this alone. If there is a trusted friend, family member or pastor nearby, consider letting them know you are under the weather and missing your mom, so they can check in on you.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. Please touch their body with healing, ease what is making them unwell, and surround them with Your comfort. In the loneliness of missing their mom, remind them they are seen and loved, and give them peace and rest in the days ahead. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and we have brought it before the Lord with sincere affection and prayer. We are sorry to hear that you have been unwell these days, and still more sorry to learn that the mother who so faithfully prayed for you was called home in June. The loss of such a prayer warrior leaves a tender void, and we grieve with you in it, while we thank God that her prayers are now fulfilled in that place where sickness and sorrow are no more.

We would remind you that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. And the prophet declares that the Sun of Righteousness shall rise with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were made one. So we look to Him not only for the body but for the soul, for He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds.

We do not despise the means which God provides for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek the physician, yet we know that all true healing comes from His hand. He is able to heal, and He is gracious to hear the cry of His children when they look to Him.

Let us pray for you now.

O gracious Father, we come in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, through whom alone is salvation, and we ask Thy mercy upon this Thy child who is afflicted in body and tender in heart through bereavement. Lay Thy healing hand upon this one, ease the sickness, restore strength, and grant recovery according to Thy perfect will. As Thou hast begun a good work of grace, let Thy healing virtue work health and cure till body and soul are made whole. Comfort the heart that mourns a mother now with Thee, and let the knowledge of Thy nearness be as balm to the wound. Grant faith to trust Thee in weakness, patience to wait upon Thee, and joy to know that whether in sickness or in health we are Thine. Hear our prayer, for Jesus sake. Amen.

We will continue to remember you before the Lord, and we encourage you to rest in Him, to seek needful care for the body, and to feed daily upon His Word, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. May the Lord who has promised to be nigh unto them that are of a broken heart keep you in His peace.

Lord, touch their body and bring complete healing. Comfort their grieving heart and remind them that You are near. You are their refuge and their healer.

**Bible Verses:**

- *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."* (Psalm 34:18)
- *"Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for You are the One I praise."* (Jeremiah 17:14)
- *"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."* (Matthew 5:4)

**Amen.**

Thank you for sharing your request and for trusting us to pray with you. I am sorry to hear you have been unwell for the past few days, and I am especially sorry for the loss of your mother in June. Losing a mother who was a prayer warrior is a deep grief, and it is understandable to feel her absence even more when you are sick and would normally turn to her for prayer.

Please know that God sees you in both your physical need and your sorrow, and He invites you to bring both to Him. Scripture reminds us that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and that He is our healer. He cares for you as a Father and He hears the prayers of His people.

I am praying for you now, and our church will continue to pray.

Father in heaven, I lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the sickness that has lingered for days and You know the weariness it brings. Please touch this body with Your healing hand, bring strength and restoration, and give wisdom to any doctors or caregivers involved. Grant restful sleep, peace of mind, and a full recovery according to Your will. At the same time, comfort this heart in the grief of losing a mother. Remind Your child that You are near, that You collect every tear, and that Your love does not fail. Fill the place of loneliness with Your presence through the Holy Spirit, and surround this one with supportive people who will pray and encourage. Help Your child to keep trusting in Jesus, to find hope in Your promises, and to feel Your peace that passes understanding. In Jesus name, Amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word each day, and to rest and seek medical care as needed while you recover. If you are able, let a pastor or trusted believer nearby know how you are doing so they can check on you and pray with you in person. You are not alone, and God has not forgotten you.

Please let us know how you are doing in the coming days so we can continue to pray. May the Lord grant you healing, comfort, and His nearness in this time.

I am praying for you as you walk through this sickness and the added sorrow of missing your mother. Losing a mother who was a faithful prayer warrior leaves a deep ache, and being unwell at the same time can make that loss feel even heavier. God sees both your physical need and your grief, and He draws near with compassion.

Scripture shows Jesus caring for people right where they were sick. He healed a leper with a touch, He healed a centurion's servant with only a word from a distance, and He healed Peter's mother-in-law as she lay sick with a fever, so that she was able to get up again. In the evening many others who were sick and troubled were brought to Him and He helped them. Matthew connects this to what Isaiah wrote, that He Himself bore our sicknesses and carried our infirmities. That is still who Jesus is. He has power over the physical body and He cares about your illness.

I want to encourage you that healing can come in different ways. Sometimes Jesus healed instantly so that a person felt strength return in a moment, and sometimes healing came gradually through the natural processes God Himself placed in our bodies. Both are from Him. Any true healing is divine, whether it happens quickly or step by step, whether with prayer and a touch or with a simple word. He does not work by one fixed pattern, but He does work according to His wisdom and love. We do not always understand why some are lifted up immediately and others recover more slowly, yet we can come to Him in simple faith and trust Him with the outcome.

You do not need a special intermediary to be heard. You can come directly to Jesus yourself, just as that desperate mother came to Him for her daughter and found His mercy. Bring your need to Him honestly and keep bringing it until you know He has heard you.

Let me pray for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this dear one who is feeling unwell. You know the weakness and discomfort of these past days, and You know the grief of missing a mother who prayed faithfully. I ask for Your healing touch upon this body. Whether by an immediate lifting of this illness or by Your healing work through the body's own recovery, bring restoration, strength and peace. Comfort the heart that is grieving, remind this child of Your nearness, and let Your presence be felt as real help and hope. I ask this trusting that You bore our sicknesses and that You care for us with great compassion. Amen.

May the Lord give you rest, renewed strength, and the assurance that He hears your prayers.
