Disciple of Prayer
I pray that ### Son , ### gets healed from drugs and using cocaine and being with drug dealers and even maybe selling drugs. Goes into rehab or at least quit taking drugs. Please let them get healed by Jesus 10 to Jesus thank you.

We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord and we hear the burden and love in your heart for him. We stand with you in seeking God's will for his complete deliverance and healing in Jesus' name.

We know that addiction to drugs such as cocaine is not only destructive to the body but is spiritual bondage. Scripture teaches us that our bodies are not our own to harm. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. The Lord calls us to be sober and clear minded, for 1 Peter 5:8 says Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Cocaine and association with drug dealers and the selling of drugs not only defiles the temple God gave him but also harms others and opens the door to lawlessness, violence and deeper darkness. We must gently but firmly rebuke this path, for it does not honor God and it leads to death, yet we rejoice that no chain is too strong for Jesus to break.

We cling to the promise that Jesus came to set the captives free. John 8:36 says If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. And 2 Corinthians 5:17 says Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. We also take comfort that God provides a way out of temptation, as 1 Corinthians 10:13 says No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

We pray together for him now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him we have access to You. We lift up this beloved son to You and ask for Your mercy and delivering power to come upon him. Lord, break the craving and bondage to cocaine and every drug in his body and mind. Cleanse him, heal the damage done, and renew his mind. Convict his heart deeply of sin and draw him to repentance and to salvation in Christ if he does not yet know You as Lord. We ask that You sever every ungodly tie with drug dealers and remove him from every place of temptation and evil influence. We pray that if it is Your will, You would open the door for him to enter godly, effective rehab or counseling and give him the willingness to go and to stay and to quit completely. Give him a hatred for what once enslaved him and a hunger for righteousness. Protect him from overdose, violence, arrest and death, and prevent him from selling drugs and harming others. We pray for his parents and loved ones, grant them strength, wisdom, peace and discernment to love him well without enabling his sin, to set healthy boundaries, and to speak truth in love. Surround this family with godly counsel, a Bible believing church and accountability. Let this son become a testimony of Your transforming grace. We thank You, Lord Jesus, for hearing our prayer and for Your power to heal. We trust this into Your hands. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to intercede without ceasing and to also seek wise, practical help. Encourage him toward Christian based rehab or pastoral counseling, accountability and fellowship where he can be discipled. Speak the truth to him in love, that God loves him and has a better purpose for his life than this destruction, and that true freedom only comes through surrender to Jesus. We also encourage you to guard your own heart with prayer and the Word, and to lean on trusted believers for support as you walk through this trial. James 5:16 says The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. We stand with you, believing God is able to do exceedingly more than we ask.

We hear the weight you are carrying for your son and we are holding both of you before the Lord with you.

Loving someone in the grip of cocaine and the world that comes with it can leave a parent feeling helpless and heartbroken, especially when you see the danger of dealers and the possibility he is selling as well. Your longing for him to find freedom, whether through rehab or simply being willing to step away from drugs, is a good and loving prayer, and we join you in asking Jesus to work in his heart.

Addiction is rarely just a matter of trying harder. It often involves deep needs and patterns that take more than willpower to untangle, which is why lasting change usually needs both God's help and steady, wise support from others. You cannot carry this alone, and you were not meant to.

One next step that often helps is to talk soon with a trusted pastor or Christian counselor who knows local recovery resources. They can help you think through how to encourage treatment options and how to set loving, clear boundaries while you continue to pray. It can also help to find support for yourself as you walk this road, so you have others to lean on. Alongside prayer, we gently encourage connecting with a medical professional or licensed counselor who can assess his situation and point to appropriate care.

Father, we bring this son to You and ask for Your mercy and protection over him. Draw him away from what is harming him and open his heart to want help and to receive it. Give his parent wisdom, strength, and peace as they love him, and lead them both to the right people who can come alongside them. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your prayer for your son has been laid before the Lord, and He who hears the cry of a burdened parent will not turn His ear away. There is a great sorrow in watching one you love go down into a pit of bondage, to see him entangled with drugs and with those who deal in them, and perhaps to be drawn into the sin of selling what destroys others. This is a cruel captivity indeed, and none but the Lord can bring forth the captive with an outstretched arm.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, but how much more grievous is the sickness of the soul when sin has taken hold and habit has become a chain. The man who is given to cocaine and to the company of dealers is like Israel in Egypt, held fast until the Lord Himself works deliverance. He feels perhaps that he can do nothing, and you feel that you can do nothing, and in this you are taught the blessed truth that deliverance must be of free grace only. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom. He gave His own Son to bear the penalty of our iniquities, that the prisoner ready to be destroyed might go free. If the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.

There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves have virtue to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. So we look for your son not merely to be restrained from drugs for a season, but to be forgiven, washed, and made whole by the blood of the Lamb. When the root of bitterness is taken away, the evil which grows out of it is also removed.

Oh that the Sun of Righteousness would rise with healing beneath His wings upon him even now in this midnight of despair. The Lord is able to break the power of appetite, to give hatred for the poison that once was loved, to sever ties with evil companions and to turn the feet into a new path. He can make a man willing in the day of His power, and willingly to seek help, whether through godly counsel, the care of the church, or the means of rehab and honest labour, as an instrument of His mercy.

Let us pray together for him.

O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this son who is going down to the pit. Thou hast said, I have found a ransom, and Thou didst give heaven's brightest jewel, Thine own Son, to redeem us from all iniquity. Have compassion upon this captive. Forgive his sins for Jesus sake, and in forgiving, heal him. Break the chains of cocaine and every drug, deliver him from dealers and from the temptation to deal in destruction, and set his feet upon the rock. Bring him to repentance and faith in Christ alone for salvation, and make him a new creature. Grant him willingness to turn from this path and to seek help, and grant his parent comfort and strength to wait upon Thee. Thou hast not forgotten Zion, though Zion saith My God hath forgotten me. Can a woman forget her sucking child. So Thou wilt not forget those who cry to Thee. Hear us for Jesus sake. Amen.

Take courage and continue in prayer. Remember how Jacob feared to meet Esau and yet found his brother fall upon his neck, and how Jacob mourned for Joseph as rent in pieces when God was preparing to raise him up. God often delivers when we look not for it. Keep your grief before the Lord rather than spreading it to the pitiless sea, speak to Him who binds up the broken hearted, and do not cease to plead that your son may be brought forth, not by his own strength, but by the Lord who alone can save. Encourage him, as the Lord gives opportunity, to confess his need, to turn from this evil company, to seek help from those who can care for him, and to hear the Word by which faith cometh. The clock of mercy can strike even now the hour of his deliverance.

Your prayer for your son has been heard and we join you in bringing him before the Lord Jesus Christ with urgency and hope.

We pray to Jesus as the true Son of God, who alone has life in Himself and power to save. He does not need to merely ask another, for He Himself is able to do this. When He asked, do you believe that I am able to do this, He showed that His mercy is given in proportion to faith. So we pray first that your son would come to true faith in Christ, to know Him not only by name but as Lord and Savior who alone can forgive sin and make us children of God.

We ask the Lord to have mercy on your son and to deliver him from the bondage of cocaine and from all involvement with drugs, whether using or selling, and from the company of those who deal in them. We pray that God would break these chains, cleanse his body and mind, and give him a deep desire to turn away from this path that leads to destruction. We pray that if it is His will, God would open the door to rehab or other sound help, and give your son the willingness to enter it and to persevere, and that He would surround him with people who will speak the truth and support him in sobriety.

We also pray for you as you love and intercede for him. Do not grow weary or despair. As a physician does not stop applying medicine while there is still breath, so we do not stop praying and speaking the word of truth. Sometimes ten prayers or ten exhortations seem to bear no fruit, and then the next brings the breakthrough. God in His great lovingkindness even now delays judgment so that those who have sinned may have time to wash away their transgressions and lay hold on eternal life. That delay is mercy, and we pray your son would use this time to repent and return to the Lord.

We will continue to pray that Jesus, who humbled Himself to call us His own, would heal your son, renew his strength, restore him to health, and lead him into a new life of obedience and love for God and for His commandments, for to hear and keep His word is the sure proof of love for Him.

May the Lord grant your son deliverance, repentance, and lasting freedom, and may He give you peace and strength as you trust in Christ. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone saves. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your love and burden for your son is evident in this prayer, and God understands the heart of a parent who loves a child deeply. Scripture gives us a picture of that love in a father for his son, and it points us to an even greater love, the love of the heavenly Father who gave His only begotten Son for us. Because God loves in that way, He knows the grief you feel and He has the power to help.

We join you in praying that Jesus will bring healing and deliverance to your son. Drug use and the world that comes with it, including dealers and the temptation to sell, is a dark bondage. It enslaves the body and the spirit. But Jesus came to set captives free. In the fullness of time God sent forth His Son, born of a woman and born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. Through faith in Jesus, a person is not only forgiven but brought into the family of God, given a new identity and the Spirit of His Son in the heart crying Abba, Father.

This is why the greatest need for your son is to have the Son. The Bible is clear that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life. True healing is more than stopping a substance, it is receiving new life in Christ, a life that breaks the power of sin and gives strength to walk in freedom. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, and that same love is able to reach your son wherever he is right now.

We pray with you now. Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this son to You. You see his struggle with cocaine and drugs and the dangerous relationships that surround him. Lord, have mercy on him. Open his eyes to see his need for You, bring deep conviction and a desire to turn from this path, and draw him to Jesus for salvation. Break the chains of addiction, remove the influence of those who would lead him further into harm, and protect him from the destruction that comes with buying and selling drugs. Give him a willing heart to seek help, whether through rehab or other godly support, and give him the strength to turn away completely. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit and make him a new creation in Christ. Comfort and strengthen his parent who is praying, give peace and wisdom and perseverance to keep interceding and to speak the truth in love.

Continue to bring him before the Lord each day and trust that God hears the prayers of a loving parent. Encourage him toward help that will separate him from that environment and toward fellowship where he can hear the gospel and be discipled. Keep sharing the hope that is only in Jesus, that whoever calls on the Son finds forgiveness, adoption, and power to live a new life. God is able to redeem and restore, and we will keep praying that your son experiences the deliverance and healing that comes only through Jesus Christ.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for the healing and deliverance of your son from drugs and cocaine and from being with drug dealers and even the danger of selling drugs. We have continued to lift him before the Lord asking for complete healing through Jesus, that every chain of addiction would be broken, that he would be separated from harmful influences, that he would be led into rehab or be given the strength to quit completely and walk in freedom.

We stand on the promise in John 8:36 that if the Son therefore shall make you free ye shall be free indeed and we claim that freedom and restoration for your son.

If your request was answered and you have seen healing, deliverance or steps toward rehab and freedom, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and he is still struggling, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We want to keep interceding with you for his total deliverance.

May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son Jesus Christ. We pray that God will give you peace and strength as you trust him in this difficult time and that your son will experience the transforming power and love of Jesus and be healed and made whole. We ask all of this in Jesus Name amen.
