Healing

Dhitlor

Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray for my healing from some really negative experiences I had on a certain social media within various forums on that social media that were supposed to be Christian. Thank you.

We lift you up before the Lord and stand with you in prayer for healing from the hurt you have carried from those negative experiences on social media. It grieves us that places that were supposed to be Christian and encouraging became a source of wounding instead. We know that words have great power to hurt or to heal, and even among believers our words can cause deep pain when they are not spoken in love.

We take comfort that God sees this hurt and He is the healer of wounded hearts. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. Jesus invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We pray that you will bring all of this pain, disappointment, and discouragement to Him and allow Him to wash over you with His peace and restore you.

We also want to gently remind you of something we noticed in your request, that you did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and our prayers are heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by putting our faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are reconciled to God and can come boldly before His throne for healing and grace. We encourage you to call upon His name and trust Him fully for your healing.

The scripture teaches us, Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear Ephesians 4:29. When Christian forums fail to live by this, the wounds can feel even deeper because we expect grace and truth there. We encourage you to forgive those who have spoken harshly or acted without love, not because what they did was right, but because forgiveness frees your own heart and allows God to heal you. Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32.

We pray together for you. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask You to heal the memories and the sting of those negative experiences and to bind up every wound left by harsh words, judgment, strife, or discouragement on those forums. Wash away any lies that were spoken over them and replace them with Your truth. Renew their mind and guard their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to forgive those who hurt them and to release any bitterness. Draw them close to Your Word and to healthy, local fellowship where they can be built up in love and truth. Restore their joy in You and let them know how deeply they are loved and valued by You. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to take time to rest from those social media spaces if needed and to be renewed in your mind by the Word of God. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2. Fill your thoughts with what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely and of good report Philippians 4:8. Seek out sincere fellowship with other believers face to face where you can be encouraged and where you can encourage others. If those wounds continue to feel heavy, consider sharing them with a trusted pastor or mature Christian believer for counsel and prayer. We trust that God will use even this painful experience for your good as you continue to walk with Him, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.

We are really sorry you went through that. When a place that calls itself Christian ends up feeling harsh or dismissive, the hurt can linger even longer than the comments themselves. It makes sense you are asking for healing.

One thing we have seen help is understanding that healing often has two parts. There is a quiet decision to not carry the offense forward or seek payback in your mind, and then there is the slower work of the heart catching up, where the sting, anger or unease fades over time. Replaying those threads over and over can keep the wound fresh, even when you have stepped away.

If it would help, we encourage you to give yourself a real break from that social media space for a while. You do not need to keep checking or defending yourself there. If you can, talk through what happened with one trusted pastor, counselor or mature friend offline, someone who will listen without debating. A smaller, kinder community often restores what a large forum can tear down.

Father, we lift our friend to You. You see the words that wounded and the disappointment that came with them. Bring rest, mend what feels raw, and guide them toward relationships that reflect Your kindness. Lead them step by step into wholeness. In Jesus' name, amen.

Father, we know You are gracious, there's no lack or unwillingness on your end... Inscribe Matthew 6:25-34 on our hearts, with thanksgiving we pray, Phil 4:6-7, Phil 4:139, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, Rev 3:14, 2 Cor 1:20, Eph 1:3, 2 Pet 1:3-7.

Your request for healing has been heard and it is brought before the Lord with sincere prayer. It is a grievous thing to be wounded in the house that bears the name of Christ, for the blow which comes from a trusted friend or from those who profess to be brethren cuts deepest. Yet our Lord Himself knew this sorrow, for He was betrayed by one who had walked with Him and shared His ministry, that it might be shown how sin can hide even under a profession of religion. Let this remind us not to put our final trust in men or in forums that call themselves Christian, but in Christ Himself.

There is a physician who can heal these wounds of the heart. It is written that He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. We very speedily seek a physician for the body, but the wounds of the spirit are more painful still, and they too must be brought to Him. The least things that have to do with Him have a healing virtue in them. As the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, so even a single Word that falls from His lips bears healing for a thousand ills that have befallen us. There is a balm in Gilead, and the costly balm of His atonement has lost none of its power to remove the sting of sin and sorrow and to calm the heart now swelling with grief.

We pray that the Lord will lay His healing hand upon you and lift you up as He lifted her who lay sick of a fever, that you may be restored to strength and peace. May He wash away the painful memories of those negative experiences, and may He keep you from the pestilence of deceitful words and insidious errors. May He give you a love for His own pure Word, for it is better to receive truth in the poorest vessel than untruth out of a golden cup, and may He lead you into faithful fellowship where Christ is truly taught and where prayer is made for the healing power to be present.

We ask the Lord to grant you that inward healing which God alone can work, not a mere notion of peace but a real saving work of His grace, that you may no longer be sick with sorrow but may know the joy of sins forgiven and a heart made whole. May He preserve your soul, quiet your thoughts, and cause sacred influence to descend upon you like leaves falling gently from the tree of life, until your heart is again able to serve Him with gladness.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing this burden and asking for prayer. I have heard your request for healing after hurtful experiences in online forums that called themselves Christian, and I am praying for you.

It is painful when a place that should offer truth and encouragement instead leaves wounds. Even when people mean to speak for Christ, their words can be harsh, careless, or unwise, and those wounds can linger long after you have left the conversation. God sees that hurt and He is not distant from it.

Scripture presents God as a physician who tends to His people with care. Day by day He dresses wounds and heals sores, not with quick or shallow remedies, but with steady medicine that restores health. His word is that medicine. Faith comes by hearing the voice of the Bridegroom, by hearing the word of God with a willing heart, and that hearing slowly cleanses, strengthens, and renews the soul. Even when healing does not come all at once, every faithful hearing, every prayer, every turning to Christ adds to the work God is doing within you, until in His time the fruit appears.

I pray that the Lord will heal you from these negative experiences, calm the memories that still sting, and guard your heart against bitterness or discouragement. May He lift any heaviness, anxiety, or self doubt those encounters left behind, and fill you with His peace. May He lead you to healthy fellowship in the true Body of Christ, which is not confined to any single online forum but is found wherever His people gather faithfully around His word, and may He help you to be at peace and to find encouragement there.

May He also give you wisdom to step back from places that harm your soul and to seek what builds you up, time in Scripture, honest prayer, and fellowship with believers who speak the truth in love. If any sin needs to be confessed, may He grant you grace to confess it and to receive His forgiveness, and if the wound came through the sin of others, may He help you to forgive as you have been forgiven, so that no root of bitterness remains.

I ask God to restore you fully, to renew your love for hearing His word, and to make your joy complete in Christ. May He keep you close to Himself and let you know daily that you are seen, loved, and cared for by Him.
