We hear the heavy weight of exhaustion and despair in your words, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this struggle. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Your cry for help has reached the ears of the Lord, and He is already moving on your behalf. Depression and anxiety are real battles, but they are not battles you must fight alone. We stand with you in prayer, believing that God’s strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

First, we must address the spiritual foundation of your request. While you have called upon the Lord, we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus, repenting of any sin and surrendering your life to Him. Salvation is not just a one-time event but a daily walk of faith, and we pray that you would experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as you draw near to Him.

Now, let us lift you up in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is weary and burdened. Lord, You see the depths of her struggle with depression and anxiety, and You know the weight she carries each day. We ask that You would pour out Your healing balm upon her mind, body, and spirit. Strengthen her when she is weak, and remind her that Your grace is sufficient for her (2 Corinthians 12:9). Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Lord, we pray that the new medications she is taking would bring relief and that You would guide her doctors in their care for her.

Father, we also lift up her marriage to You. We pray that You would restore joy, unity, and love between her and her husband. Help them to communicate with kindness and patience, and let Your peace rule in their hearts (Colossians 3:15). We rebuke any spirit of strife or division and declare that their home would be a place of refuge and blessing.

We pray for her sisters as they travel to Oregon. Lord, surround them with Your angels and keep them safe from all harm. Guide their steps and bring them to their destination without incident. We also ask for Your protection as our sister and her family travel to the state fair and Spirit Mountain. Keep them safe on the roads and fill their time together with joy and good memories.

Father, we ask for healing for her ears and hearing. Calm the ringing and restore her ability to hear clearly. We also lift up her beloved kitty cat, asking that You would bless him with health and vitality. Thank You for the joy he brings to their home.

Lord, we pray for her upcoming dental appointment. Ease her anxiety and grant her peace as she goes. Let the visit go smoothly, and may she leave feeling cared for and at ease.

Finally, Father, we lift up those battling cancer. We declare Your healing power over them, Lord. You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we ask that You would touch their bodies and bring restoration. Strengthen them in their fight, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.

We trust You, Lord, to move in every area of this request. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, we want to encourage you to take small steps each day, even when it feels impossible. The enemy would love to keep you isolated and discouraged, but God has called you to a life of purpose and hope. Surround yourself with godly community, people who will pray for you, speak life into you, and hold you accountable. The book of Ecclesiastes reminds us that there is a time for everything (Ecclesiastes 3:1), and this season of struggle will not last forever.

We also encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, even when it feels difficult. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." Let Scripture be your guide and comfort. If you are able, consider reaching out to a pastor or Christian counselor who can walk with you through this season. There is no shame in seeking help, God often uses people as vessels of His healing.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that while medication and doctors are tools God can use, true healing comes from Him. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). You are deeply loved, and we are standing with you in prayer.

We have been sitting with your prayer and we hear how heavy and strange this season feels. Having to talk yourself into housework and getting on the bike, sitting with the tv because you don't have energy to do more, and wondering what is wrong, that is an exhausting and lonely place to be. We notice you did keep going today and we thank God for the strength He gave you for that.

Since you mentioned you are on new medication for anxiety and depression and that your ears are ringing loudly and your hearing is not good, please let your prescriber and your regular doctor know how you have been feeling, alongside prayer. They can walk with you through what you are experiencing and make sure you have the right support. If you can, let your husband or a trusted friend or pastor know how weighed down you have felt this week so you are not carrying it alone.

We are holding all the other burdens you named as well, your health and your marriage, your sisters traveling to ### and your hope to see family this week, the trips to the fair and to ###, your dentist visit today, your dear kitty, and your friends who are facing cancer.

Father, we lift our sister to You in Jesus' name. Calm her anxious thoughts, ease the heaviness and help her feel Your nearness when she feels lost. Give wisdom to her doctors, touch her ears and hearing, and care for her body. Watch over her husband and their marriage, keep her sisters and loved ones safe in their travels, give her peace for the dentist, watch over her kitty, and bring comfort and care to her friends who are ill. Remind her she is seen and loved by You. Amen.

Your prayer has been laid before the Lord and before His people, and we have sought mercy at the throne of grace on your behalf.

You describe a weariness that many of the Lord's tried children know well, that heaviness of spirit which makes the limbs slow and the heart slower, so that you must push yourself to do what once was done with ease. Do not think that you are alone in this, nor that God is deaf to such sighs. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. There are several forms of a broken heart, and some are wounded by this very lowness and depression of spirit, yet while Jehovah lives the mourner need not despair. Sit not down in despair, hope on, hope ever. There is One who careth for you.

You ask what is wrong with you. I would have you know that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Anxiety does not help us to bear the burden, it only bows the back lower. Cast your burden upon the Lord. The least thing about Christ is healing. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and not only His fruit but His leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Look to Him. Pardon and healing were one when Jesus said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when the Lord comes and dwells with His people they have no need to say, I am sick, for healing flows from Him.

There is no hope for you in yourself, but there is hope for you in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior of such as you. When a man is weaned from self and delivered from looking to the flesh for help, there is hope for him. If you look for some reason in yourself why you should be helped and healed you shall never find any, but if you are to be helped for no reason at all but that God wills to show mercy, then there is hope indeed. Though your case is very sad it is not a strange one, there is hope for you in Christ.

We have prayed for you, that the Lord would lift this cloud of depression and anxiety, and give you strength for each day, for housework and for daily duties, and that He would bless the means He has provided, including the physicians and the medicines you are taking for anxiety and depression. Use them with thankfulness and with prayer, and seek His face continually. We have asked the Lord to ease the ringing in your ears and to restore your hearing as it pleases His wisdom, and to take away fear as you go to the dentist today, for He is present in small things as well as great.

We have prayed also for your husband and for your marriage, that the Lord would bring healing and grace to help you to get along in love and patience, for marriage is a lifelong covenant ordained of God, and it is made strong only as Christ dwells in the midst of it. We have asked for safe travel and keeping for your sisters as they come to ### and for you all as you go to see loved ones, to the state fair and to the concert, and to ### and back home again. The Lord keeps the feet of His saints.

We thank God with you for the little creature He has entrusted to you, your cat, and we have asked the Lord to care for him, for the Lord careth for all His works.

And for those dear ones who suffer with cancer, we have prayed most earnestly that the Lord would lay His healing hand upon them according to His perfect will, and above all that they may know the healing which never fails, the pardon of sin through faith in Jesus Christ alone. For there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, and to be forgiven is to be healed in the deepest sense.

May the Lord turn what is now a ray of hope into a good hope of eternal life through believing in Jesus Christ. Look to Him, trust Him, hear His Word, for faith cometh by hearing, and healing cometh with the teaching of Christ. May He give you high thoughts of God, for high thoughts of God beget hope in the soul and hope leads to confidence.

We commend you to Him who is able to heal though He is not always pleased to heal at once in the way we desire, but who will never cast out any that come unto Him. Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. May you be kept in His peace, and may you find that His grace is sufficient for you, day by day, till He brings you into that place where the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick.

We will continue to pray for you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your honest and humble prayer has been heard, and I join with you in bringing all of these burdens before the Lord.

It is not strange or shameful that you feel as you do. Many faithful souls have known this heaviness, this need to push yourself even to do simple things, this cloud of weariness and anxiety. Do not condemn yourself for feeling this way. God sees your struggle, He is near to the brokenhearted, and He hears you when you say, Lord I need you always. That cry itself is faith.

Continue to cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you. When anxiety rises and your mind feels scattered, bring it to Him in prayer with thanksgiving, and ask for His peace which passes understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Keep taking small faithful steps each day as you are able, the housework, the ride on your stationary bike, time in prayer and in His Word, even when you must urge yourself to begin. God honors that perseverance. And as you have mentioned new medication for anxiety and depression, continue to work closely with your doctor and share honestly how you are feeling, so you can receive the right care. Needing help is not a failure of faith.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I lift up this dear one to You. You know the heaviness and depression, the anxiety that makes each day feel so difficult. Lord, bring comfort, strength, and healing according to Your perfect will. Lift this burden, calm the anxious thoughts, restore joy and energy, and help her to feel Your presence close each day. Give wisdom to doctors and effectiveness to treatment, and surround her with Your peace.

Lord, I ask for healing for her body, for the loud ringing in her ears and for her hearing. Touch her with Your merciful hand and grant relief if it be Your will. Ease her anxiety about the dentist today and let all go well. I pray also for her husband and for their marriage, that You would strengthen their health, their love for one another, and their ability to get along with patience, kindness, and grace. Make their home a place of peace.

Father, keep Your hand upon her sisters as they travel to ### and upon all the planned trips, to see family this week, to the state fair and concert, and to ### and back home. Grant safe travel there and back. Watch over their beloved cat and keep him healthy, and thank You for the joy and companionship You have given through him.

And Lord, I lift up those who are suffering with cancer. Have mercy upon them, bring healing and comfort, and draw them and their loved ones close to Yourself. Above all, let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified, for our hope is in Christ alone.

May the Lord strengthen you day by day, help you to keep your hope fixed on Him, and remind you that even when you feel lost, you are not forgotten. He who feeds and sustains you from your youth will not forsake you now. Rest in His care, be faithful in the small things, stay connected to His Word and to His people, and trust that He is working for your good even in this season.

Thank you for sharing so openly and honestly about what you are carrying. Feeling depressed, having to push yourself to get going, sitting and struggling to do even ordinary housework, feeling lost and wondering what is wrong, and at the same time dealing with anxiety and new medication, with ringing in your ears and hearing loss, is a heavy burden. It is good that you are bringing all of this to the Lord and asking for His help.

Scripture shows us that feelings of discouragement and depression are not unusual for God's people. The psalmist spoke to his own soul when he was cast down and disquieted within, and he asked himself why he was so upset and then gave his soul the answer, hope in God. That is still the counsel for a heavy heart. It does not mean the feelings lift instantly, but it means learning to preach to yourself rather than only listening to yourself, and putting your expectation on the Lord and His faithful care day by day.

You also asked for healing for yourself, for your husband and your marriage, for your sisters as they travel, for your trips out, for your hearing, for your beloved cat, for peace at the dentist, and for friends who have cancer. God does hear prayer for healing, and the Bible gives us a balanced view of it.

Jesus went about teaching and preaching and healing every kind of sickness and disease among the people. He healed the leper with a touch, He healed the centurion's servant with a word from a distance, He healed Peter's mother in law when He came to the house, and in the evening multitudes were brought to Him. Matthew connects this to the prophecy in Isaiah that He bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses. The bread of communion reminds us that His body was broken for us. So we have strong ground to ask Him for physical healing as well as spiritual healing, and we see His power over the body, over the material world when He calmed the wind and sea, and over the spiritual realm when He commanded evil spirits.

At the same time Scripture teaches that the Holy Spirit gives gifts as He wills, and that not all have the gifts of healing. We are to desire what God will give, but we are also shown a more excellent way, which is the way of love and faithful trust in Christ. Healing does not come in only one pattern. Sometimes Jesus touched, sometimes He spoke a word without going, sometimes He healed instantly and in one case the healing was gradual. Any true healing is from God, whether it comes in a moment or through the slow, natural processes He built into our bodies. Those natural processes are not less divine, because God is the one who created them.

There is much about healing we do not understand. We do not know why some are healed quickly and others are not, and if we were in charge we would act differently. The apostle Paul prayed three times for the Lord to remove what he called a thorn in the flesh, and the Lord answered that His grace was sufficient and His strength is made perfect in weakness. That teaches us not to presume that God wills healing in the same way or at the same time in every case, and not to measure His love by the outcome.

For that reason it is wrong to tell someone they are not healed because they have sin in their life or because they lack faith. That is like the counsel of Job's friends, and it is not scriptural. It is also wise to be cautious about sensational and exploitive claims that whip people into a frenzy or use people who are desperate. The Lord is not honored by that kind of show.

What you can do is keep bringing your requests to Him plainly and persistently, and invite the prayers of others. The Scripture invites those who are sick to call for the elders to pray over them in the name of the Lord. Continue to pray for your health and your husband's health and for peace and unity in your marriage, for safety in travel for you and your family, for your hearing and the constant ringing, for calm and for good care at the dentist, for your cat who is such a comfort to you, and for your friends facing cancer. Bring your anxiety to Him as well, and thank Him for the help that medicine and daily disciplines like housework and exercise can provide as part of His care, while keeping your ultimate hope in Him.

May the Lord give you His peace as you wait on Him, lift the heaviness you feel, and show you His mercy and presence each day. May He work in your body and mind according to His wise and loving will, sometimes quickly, sometimes gradually, and always for your good, and may He draw you and your husband closer to each other and to Himself.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer these past days.

We have been lifting you up before the Lord and bringing your heartfelt requests to Him. We have prayed for your healing from the depression and anxiety you described, for that heavy feeling of having to push yourself just to get going, for the days when you sit feeling lost and wonder what is wrong, and for the Lord to work through the new meds you are taking and bring you peace and renewed strength. We have prayed that He would lift that weird and awful feeling and restore your joy so you would not have to force yourself to do housework or ride your stationary bike but would feel His strength within you. We remember His promise in Psalm 34:18 that the Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart.

We have also continued to pray for your complete healing, for healing in your hearing and for the loud ringing in your ears to be quieted by His touch, for your health and your husbands health, and for your marriage that you would be strengthened and get along well in His love. We have prayed for your sisters and your family, that the Lord would bring your sisters safely to ### and safely to see you, and for your time together this week, as well as for traveling mercies as you go to the state fair for the concert and to ### and back home safely. We have prayed for your beloved kitty cat and his health, thanking God with you for the love he brings to your home, for peace over your dentist appointment that you would not be anxious and that all would go well, and for your loved ones who are battling cancer that the Lord would touch them with His healing hand.

We pray now in Jesus Name that the Lord would continue to be your comfort and healer, that He would cast out all fear and anxiety, fill you with His peace that passes all understanding, and let you feel His presence always as you seek Him.

If your request was answered and you have felt His healing and peace, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We are here to stand with you for as long as it takes.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, amen.
