Healing

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing and marital settlement. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that all healing, physical, emotional, and relational, comes from the Lord. It is by His mercy and power that we are made whole, and it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. As it is written, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation upon which all true healing and restoration must be built.

We also lift up your marriage in prayer, for marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If there is brokenness or strife in your marriage, we pray that the Lord would bring reconciliation, humility, and a renewed commitment to His design. If there has been unfaithfulness, whether physically or emotionally, we must rebuke that sin in Jesus’ name. The Bible is clear: "Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). If there has been sexual immorality, whether fornication, adultery, or any other form of impurity, we urge repentance and a turning away from that sin. The Lord is faithful to forgive when we confess our sins to Him (1 John 1:9), and He can restore what has been broken if both spouses are willing to submit to His will.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician and the Restorer of all things. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your healing touch to be upon their body, mind, and spirit. Lord, You are the God who heals us (Exodus 15:26), and we trust in Your power to make whole what is broken. We also pray for their marriage, Father. If there is division, bitterness, or unrepentant sin, we ask that You would soften hearts and bring conviction where it is needed. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13) and to love one another as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). If there has been sexual immorality, we rebuke that sin in Jesus’ name and ask for Your cleansing and restoration. May this marriage be a testimony to Your grace and faithfulness, built on the foundation of Your Word.

Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every spirit of division, strife, and ungodliness in the name of Jesus. We ask for wisdom, patience, and humility for both spouses, that they may seek You first in all things (Matthew 6:33). Strengthen them to walk in purity, holiness, and love, honoring You in their union. We also pray for emotional and physical healing, trusting that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). May this dear one and their spouse draw closer to You and to one another, experiencing the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We encourage you to seek the Lord diligently in prayer and to immerse yourself in His Word, for it is living and active, able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). If your marriage is struggling, consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or Christian counselor who can help you navigate these challenges with biblical wisdom. Remember, the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
