Disciple of Prayer
Lord God, Please give me a good biopsy result. May the tumor be benign. 🙏Spare me from having cancer oh Lord. We just lost our mother a year a go from having breast cancer. Please Lord heal me.🙏 Please heal all those who are suffering from illness. Please heal us Oh Lord. Thank you Lord God, I know you are listening to my prayer. Amen. 🙏🙏🙏

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for healing. Your fear is understandable, especially after witnessing the suffering of your dear mother. We stand with you in this moment of uncertainty, declaring that our God is the Great Physician who hears the cries of His children.

First, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). We pray that you know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, for it is in His name that we find true healing, both spiritually and physically.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip your heart. The Bible tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We declare that fear has no place in your life, for you are a child of the Most High God. We pray that you would cling to the promise that "by His stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). This healing may come in many forms, through medical intervention, divine miracle, or the peace that surpasses all understanding, but we trust that God’s will is perfect.

Father, we ask You to touch this precious one with Your healing hand. If it is Your will, let the biopsy reveal a benign result. We pray that the tumor would shrink and disappear, leaving no trace of disease. We also lift up all those who are suffering from illness, asking that You would bring comfort, strength, and restoration to their bodies. Your Word says, "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:14-15 WEB). We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).

We also pray for peace in this waiting season. The loss of your mother is still fresh, and this trial may bring back painful memories. But we declare that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). May you feel His presence in a tangible way, reminding you that you are not alone.

Lord, we ask that You would give wisdom to the doctors and medical professionals involved in this situation. Guide their hands and their decisions, that they may be instruments of Your healing. We trust that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).

Finally, we pray for strength and faith to endure whatever the outcome may be. If the news is difficult, we ask that You would carry this dear one through the valley, reminding them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). If the news is good, we give You all the glory and praise, for every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17 WEB).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We ache with you as you wait, especially so soon after losing your mother. That kind of loss leaves a tender place, and facing your own biopsy now would stir up so much, fear, grief, the memories of what she walked through. None of that surprises God, and none of it is wrong to feel. We're holding you in that heavy in-between space, where every hour before results can feel like a week.

When we're waiting on a medical outcome, our minds can race ahead to worst-case scenarios while our bodies stay braced for impact. That's not a failure of faith; it's a human response to a real threat. The waiting itself is genuinely hard, and you're doing it while still carrying a year-old grief. That takes courage you may not even feel you have. We're praying for the result you long for, a benign report, and we're also asking God to steady you right now in the waiting.

One thing that might help in the coming days: give yourself permission to name the fear out loud to one or two safe people in your life. Not to fix it, just to let it out of your own head. You might tell a trusted friend or a small group at church exactly what you're carrying, the grief, the scanxiety, the heaviness. You don't need to manage their reactions or sound brave. Letting others carry this with you can lighten the load in surprising ways, and the very act of speaking it can loosen its grip. Grief after losing your mom may also surge during this stretch; letting that surface alongside the present fear is healthy, not weak.

Let's pray: Father, we lift our sister to You right now. You know the tumor, the cells, the report that hasn't come yet. We ask for a benign result, for mercy in that outcome. But before the phone rings or the results appear, hold her steady. Quiet the racing thoughts. Surround her with people who will sit with her in the waiting and not rush her through it. Comfort the grief that still lives alongside this new fear. We ask in Jesus' name, trusting You with her body and her heart. Amen.

The cry of your soul in this hour of suspense has reached the ear of the Lord, and He would speak to you the very word He spoke to the trembling Israelites: “Fear not, stand still and see the salvation of God.” The natural heart recoils from the thought of the knife and the dark uncertainty of its findings. That is the old bondage, the fear of death which holds so many in chains. But for the child of God, washed in the precious blood, this fear is an intruder, a needless ghost. “Fear thou not,” says the Lord, “for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God.” The dread that whispers of a tumor like your mother’s is but the shadow, not the substance. Lift your eyes from the grave to the tree of life whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. Those leaves are Christ, His common mercies, His lower blessings, yet they are charged with sovereign virtue. He takes care of the little things, the trifles, and a single touch of His garment’s hem can turn malignancy into nothing.

You have asked for a good report, a benign word. It is lawful and right to do so. Yet set not your dependence on the seal of the Spirit’s answer, but upon the blood of the Son. Pardon and healing are one in the covenant; the Lord Jesus who forgave the palsied man made the pardon itself a healing draught. If the great Physician sees fit to grant you bodily deliverance, let your heart leap with praise. But if He should appoint a sterner path, still the root of the matter lies here: your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake. That is the well whose bitterness He has dried up at the cross. The loss of your dear mother is a cup you have drunk, but the same Shepherd who walked with her through the valley now walks with you. He will not suffer one hair of your head to perish without His leave, and He has abolished death for all who trust in Him. So cast off the fever of fear; it dishonors our glorious Lord and weakens your own soul. Stand on the sure rock of His finished work, and let the quiet confidence of a child possess your spirit. May the Holy Spirit whisper in your ear, “Be still, and know that I am God.” And whether the morning bring tidings of joy or of fresh trial, you shall prove that He is faithful who has promised.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
