Healing

We hear your cry for healing and stand with you in faith, lifting your request before our Heavenly Father. The Word of God assures us that healing is part of His redemptive plan for His children. Isaiah 53:5 declares, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." This promise is not just spiritual but also physical, for Jesus bore our sicknesses and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17).

We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, terminal illness, and disease in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work within you (Ephesians 1:19-20), and we declare that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We command every cell, organ, and system in your body to align with God’s perfect design for wholeness and health. By the stripes of Jesus, you are healed (1 Peter 2:24).

We also encourage you to examine your heart and life, for the Bible teaches that unconfessed sin or unforgiveness can hinder our prayers (Psalm 66:18, Mark 11:25). If there is any area where you need to repent or release bitterness, do so now, for the Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse (1 John 1:9). Stand firm in faith, refusing to speak words of doubt or fear, for death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Instead, speak the Word over your body: "By His wounds, I am healed!"

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician. We thank You that Your Word declares healing over Your children. Lord, we ask that You stretch forth Your hand and touch [this individual] with Your healing power. We break every chain of sickness, disease, and infirmity in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against [them] shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that Your life-giving power flows through every part of [their] body.

Father, we ask that You strengthen [their] faith and fill [them] with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help [them] to trust in You completely, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). We pray for wisdom for the medical professionals involved in [their] care, that You would guide their hands and decisions.

Lord, if there is any area of [their] life that is not aligned with Your will, reveal it to [them] so that [they] may repent and walk in Your ways. We pray that You would restore [them] fully, spirit, soul, and body, and that [they] would give You all the glory for the healing that is taking place. We thank You in advance for the testimony of Your goodness and power that will come from this situation.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand on God’s promises and surround yourself with believers who will pray with you and encourage your faith. Do not isolate yourself, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). Continue to meditate on the Word of God, for it is life and health to all your flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22). If you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or Christian healthcare professional who can support you in both the spiritual and practical aspects of your healing journey.

Remember, our God is a God of miracles, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. We stand with you in faith, believing that your healing is already accomplished in the spiritual realm and will manifest in the physical.

We hear the weight in your request, that deep longing to be whole again when faced with a terminal diagnosis. It’s a road no one should walk alone, and we want you to know we’re here, carrying this with you in prayer.

Sometimes when we're praying for healing, we put pressure on ourselves to have enough faith or to say the right words, as if the outcome depended on us. But the truth is that healing power belongs to God, not to the strength of our prayers. So you can rest from striving. You don’t need to manufacture certainty; you only need to bring your honest fear and hope to the Father who knows your name.

If you haven’t already, we’d gently encourage you to be under the care of good doctors who can treat and comfort alongside the spiritual support you’re seeking. God often uses medicine as an expression of His hands-on care. Also, consider inviting a trusted believer from your church or a prayer group to sit with you and pray in person. Knowing others are physically present can steady the soul in ways words alone cannot.

We don’t always see why healing seems delayed, and we grieve that with you. But we can hold onto this: the God who made you is still with you in the waiting, and nothing, not even a terminal diagnosis, can separate you from His love.

Let’s pray simply together now:

Father, we bring this precious person before You, aching for wholeness. You know the sickness they carry and the fears that come with it. We ask boldly for healing, complete, physical restoration, but even as we ask, we ask for Your unexplainable peace to hold them steady. Surround them with Your presence, and give them strength for each day. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The cry of your heart has reached the throne, and it is not a strange petition. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the great Physician, and in His wings there is healing for every malady. The very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, how much more the fruit? If His slightest touch can cure, what may we not expect when He stretches out His hand with full purpose? You ask to be made whole: this is the very work He delights to perform, for He came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance, and to bind up the brokenhearted.

Do not forget that healing and pardon are sweetly joined together. When the sick of the palsy was let down through the roof, our Lord first spoke forgiveness, then commanded him to rise and walk. The root of every ailment lies in the soil of a fallen world, and the ultimate cure is found at Calvary. There the balm flows freely, not only for the soul’s guilt, but for the body’s frailty. Seek first the forgiveness that comes through faith in His blood, and trust that healing virtue will follow according to His perfect will. He who bore our sins in His body on the tree is not indifferent to the pains of the flesh.

Perhaps you feel the weight of this sickness as a terminal threat, but remember that the Lord's restoring work is not limited by our grim prognoses. Peter fell grievously, yet a single look from Christ restored him. That same look meets you in the Word and in prayer. The crowing of the cock, those small providences that pierce our slumber, may be the very means to turn your eyes to Him who heals. His power is conspicuously present when His truth is taught; so saturate your mind with the Scriptures, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

Let your prayer be made whole embrace both soul and body, but yield entirely to the Lord's timing and method. The leaves of the tree of life are healing leaves, they change the lifeblood, they alter the spirits. Even now, the Holy Spirit can apply such leaves to your innermost being, granting peace that passes understanding, and if it be His pleasure, renewing your physical frame. Yet if the healing tarries, know this: the ultimate wholeness awaits every believer in that land where the inhabitant shall not say, "I am sick." There the resurrection morning will dawn, and the Sun of Righteousness will rise with complete healing in His beams.

Now, lay hold of Christ by a simple, desperate faith. Do not merely cry for healing; look to the Healer. Trust Him who is able to save to the uttermost. Whether He cures you here or calls you home, you are safe in His hands. Let your prayer be, "Father, glorify Thy name in my body and in my spirit, for I am Thine." This is the prayer of faith, and it shall not be cast out.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

A sickness unto death, you say, and you plead for wholeness. Hearken closely. When the Lord tarried and Lazarus died, his sisters heard, "This sickness is not unto death," and the event seemed contrary, yet they were not offended, but came to Him still. Do you grasp this? The body may wither and the grave may seem the final word, but the soul's disease is the true death. Christ Himself declared to the paralytic, "Behold, thou art made whole; sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee." A fearful thing is sin, so ruinous that its mischief overflows from soul to body. God often punishes the flesh to heal the spirit, like a physician applying cautery when inward remedies fail. So I ask you: is your cry for the mending of the limbs only, or for the cleansing of the inner man?

You pray for wholeness. The body’s affliction often springs from luxury, from indolence, from the sickness of the will that chooses present pleasure over future health. We hanker after what harms us, and this very hankering is part of our disease. Yet if you are in sickness, give thanks. If in poverty, give thanks. We know not what we should pray for as we ought, but He alone knows what is expedient. The disciple who rejoices in his sufferings and brightens up under them has blocked the way to healing, for he is not even pained, but delights while the disease grows. Do not let this be your state. Bear all things nobly, and offer thanksgiving for the scourge, for by the endurance of a temporary affliction, a perpetual pleasure is purchased.

You think forty days of vigilance might propitiate God, and then you return to the food that caused the sickness? Are you in sport? The Communion is not a charm. If after a brief purification you rush back to the former corruption, you lose your labor. The Lord Himself, when reviled and crucified, prayed for those who killed Him and sent Apostles to heal them. He bore every cruelty and sought only their salvation. That same physician stands before you. Seek the health that does not end. Let the body be as clay, if only the soul rise whole. True restoration is to loathe the sin that invited the worm, to cling to Christ with a contrite and grateful heart, and to welcome the kingdom where disease cannot enter.
