Healing

Thank you for trusting us with this request. Stomach pain and persistent digestive trouble can wear you down in a way that is hard to put into words. I am praying for you, and I want to point you toward the hope we have in a Lord who heals.

Scripture gives us a clear pattern: when someone is sick, we are to pray over them, trusting God to raise them up. That promise is not empty. Sometimes healing comes like a sudden, felt touch, the way we see in the Gospels, the way the apostles prayed and bodies were restored in an instant. I have heard accounts in our own day of that very thing happening, where a person lying sick one moment knew in the next that the pain had lifted and strength had returned. I am asking the Lord to extend that kind of mercy to you.

Yet even when healing unfolds slowly, He is still at work. Think of how a seed grows: first the blade, then the stock, then the full ear of corn. You go about your day, you sleep, you live, and while you cannot always see it, His Spirit is quietly restoring you. His word is having its effect deep within, doing what no medicine alone can do.

I am also praying about the colon test. It is so easy for the mind to race ahead into fear, but here is an opportunity to entrust this issue completely to Him. He often allows us to reach the end of our own resources so that we learn to say, “Lord, I can’t carry this. It is Yours.” There is real peace in that surrender. I am asking that the results come back with no abnormal findings, but even more, that His peace would guard you as you wait.

One more thought: the Scriptures recognize a close connection between our inner life and our physical body. The deepest emotions of joy and grief were often described as being felt in the stomach. I do not know if there is some larger burden weighing on you, but I do pray that God would search your heart. Ask Him, as the psalmist did, to test you and see if there is any hidden way of distress or anxiety that needs His healing touch. He cares for the whole person.

May you sense His presence with you now. May the Great Physician touch your body and quiet your heart. You are not alone in this; we are standing with you in prayer.

It has been our heart’s desire to lift your request before the Lord, asking Him to bring healing and comfort to your stomach and digestive system. We have prayed specifically that your colon test would reveal no abnormalities, trusting God’s perfect will and timing in this matter.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer—if you are experiencing relief or if your test results have come back clear—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could strengthen the faith of others who are waiting on God’s healing touch.

We remain committed to praying alongside you, believing that God hears our cries and works all things for His glory. May He grant you peace, strength, and renewed hope as you continue to seek Him.
