Healing

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer for your healing and wellness. The Word of God assures us that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this promise as we intercede for you. Heavenly Father, we ask that You touch every part of this dear one’s body, mind, and spirit, restoring health and vitality according to Your perfect will.

Lord, we know that healing comes from You alone, and we trust in Your mercy and power. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is written, "He himself took our infirmities, and bore our diseases" (Matthew 8:17). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

We also encourage you to seek the Lord diligently in this season, drawing near to Him so He may draw near to you (James 4:8). Place your trust in Him, for He is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). If there are areas in your life where you have not fully surrendered to God’s will, we gently remind you that true healing begins with repentance and a heart fully devoted to Him. Confess any sin, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and healed. We lift up this precious child of Yours, asking for Your divine touch to bring complete healing and restoration. Lord, You are the God who heals us, and we trust in Your unfailing love. Strengthen their body, renew their mind, and refresh their spirit. Let Your peace, which transcends all understanding, fill their heart and guard their thoughts.

We also pray for wisdom for their doctors and caregivers, that You would guide their hands and minds as they provide care. Surround this dear one with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a constant comfort. Help them to rest in You, knowing that You are in control and that Your plans for them are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and despair in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with hope and faith, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your timing and Your perfect will. May this dear one experience Your healing power in every area of their life, and may they come to know You more deeply through this trial. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Stand on His promises, and do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). You are not alone in this journey; we stand with you in prayer and faith.

We’re joining you in asking for your whole-person healing, body, mind, and spirit, right where you are today. Thank you for letting us carry this with you.

It can be wearying to keep pressing on when you don’t feel well, and sometimes the simplest requests (“overall healing and wellness”) come from a deep place of simply wanting to feel whole again. We don’t know the specifics, but we know the One who does, and we’re bringing you before Him now.

As we lift you up, here’s something small you might consider: if you haven’t done so recently, let a trusted friend or a couple of people from your church family know what you’re carrying. The simple act of hearing someone say “I’m praying for you” can be a surprising anchor, and having another person actually pray with you, in person, over the phone, or even by text, can ease the sense of carrying it alone. That kind of companionship in prayer often sustains us more than we realize.

Also, if you’re dealing with persistent physical symptoms, we’d gently encourage you to check in with a doctor if you haven’t already. Good medical care isn’t a sign of weak faith; it’s one of the ordinary gifts God uses to bring healing, even as we ask Him to work directly.

Wherever you are in this, know you’re not forgotten. We’re standing with you, trusting Jesus to meet you in the weariness and to restore what’s been drained.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this dear person to You now. You see every hidden ache, every tired place. Bring steady healing where it’s needed, and surround them with wise, kind support. Grant them patience for the journey and the quiet confidence that You are with them, even when progress feels slow. Renew their strength in body and soul, and cover them with Your peace. We ask this in Your name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer for overall healing and wellness carries one straight to the Tree of Life whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. There grows no healing herb but the one plant of renown. There is one sacred Fountain, to wash, therein, is health, there is but one, it was opened on Calvary! There is one great Physician who lays His hands on men and they are restored, there is but one!

Oftentimes when, by some sin of impurity, a sinner weakens his body and injures his health, his cure is much helped by his repenting and forsaking his uncleanness. The Sun of Righteousness has risen upon us with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." Pardon and healing were one! The Lord has begun to heal us and the healing virtue which His Grace has infused into us will work us health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle, or any such thing. His salvation will also perfectly heal our bodies.

We are on our way to eternal health! If a man could be quite sure that he would be in perfect health tomorrow, he would say little about the sickness of an hour. Calvary is the place for the healing balm rather than for the lancet and the knife. The work of Jesus, our heavenly Physician, is not so much to point out disease as to indicate and to apply the remedy. O you who are now sick unto death, ask to be forgiven and healing will come from the pardoning hand. God bless you! Amen.

You ask for prayer for healing and wellness, and I do not neglect to lift you before the Physician of our souls and bodies. But understand: the sickness that most frequently afflicts mankind lies not first in the flesh, but in that inward dullness which creeps upon the heart after prolonged exposure to sorrow or sin. When the hearing becomes sluggish and the spirit no longer burns with its former zeal, then bodily complaints often multiply. Just as a physician who finds his patient unwilling to follow the regimen laments over the self-inflicted worsening of the disease, so I urge you to examine whether any root of disobedience or worldly desire has thickened the cloud over your inward eye. The love of money, envy, strife, these like a humor gathering on the eyeball cause blindness, and from that blindness every other malady takes strength.

Yet do not despair. Christ our Master has shown by many examples that even those sick with the most sordid covetousness, publicans, extortioners, recovered health swiftly when they obeyed His healing commands. One gave half his goods to the poor and restored fourfold whatever he had taken unjustly; another, simply at His call, left all and followed. The Physician consents even to enter the house of a chief publican and sit at table with sinners, not because He approves their former deeds, but because His treatment is so potent that the gain of their conversion outweighs the shame. He wills not to judge but to save. This same Physician now stands ready to apply His remedies to your case.

Bear patiently whatever losses or afflictions you now suffer. If you accept them with thanksgiving, you may indeed recover the things taken; but if not, your reward will be greater still. Job, that noble wrestler, received back double only after he had shown the devil that he served God for nothing. So I say to you: the healing of the body often follows the healing of the soul, but the order must not be reversed. How many who heard ten admonishments and seemed insensible afterward at one hearing brought forth abundant fruit! The tree does not fall at the last blow alone, but because of the many that went before and weakened the root. I am fully persuaded that your desire for wellness, joined with a sincere love of hearing the word, will not fail of its effect. Only do not become yet more dull, mistaking the delay of relief for abandonment. God’s seeming slowness is itself a medicine, preparing you to receive a complete cure when the time is ripe.

Therefore, give heed exactly to the inward laws of the Spirit, and refuse to hear Christ’s words in a carnal fashion, looking merely to what is before your eyes. For the flesh profits nothing if you consider only the outward man; the true life comes from feeding spiritually upon Him. I join my prayers to your own, not only that your body may be made whole, but that the eyes of your understanding may be cleared, that the fever of any secret sin may break, and that you may stand healthy and fervent in zeal, obtaining the everlasting blessings.

Thank you for trusting us with this request. It is a privilege to lift you before the Lord in prayer for healing and wellness in every part of your life.

The Scriptures remind us that God cares deeply about our whole being. When the apostle John wrote to his dear friend Gaius, he expressed a beautiful wish that he would prosper and be in health, even as his soul prospered. That greeting reveals a truth we are still learning today: there is a real connection between the condition of our inner life and our physical body. The peace of Christ guarding your mind, the release of anxieties into His care, the joy of His presence, these things can bring a settledness that touches even our physical frame. So as we pray for your body, we also pray that your soul would be nourished and strengthened in Him.

At the same time, we approach healing with humility. We see in the Gospels that Jesus healed in many different ways. Sometimes a word was enough, other times a touch. There was even a man whose sight returned gradually, in stages, as Jesus laid hands on him. This reminds us that healing is not always instantaneous. God often works through processes, the restorative systems He Himself designed within the body, the wisdom He gives to those who treat the sick, the slow mending of what has been wounded. Any movement toward wholeness, whether it comes in a moment or over many months, is a gift from His hand.

I cannot promise you why some are healed quickly and others carry long infirmities. Many faithful, devoted believers I know have endured tremendous physical trials. It is not a sign of weak faith or some hidden lack. The ways of God, in His infinite wisdom, remain higher than our own. We hold fast to the truth that He is good, and that He works even in mysteries we cannot yet understand. The same Jesus who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows walks with you now, and nothing can separate you from His love.

While we wait and trust, we also steward what God has given us. He is interested in the practical care of your body. Rest, nourishment, and the habits that support health are not separate from a life of faith. Be mindful of what builds you up, and do not neglect the simple, daily ways you can cooperate with how God made you.

Let us pray together now: Father, we lift up this dear one to You. You know every need of body, mind, and spirit. We ask for Your healing power to flow. Grant wisdom for any steps they should take, strength for the journey, and a deep sense of Your peace that surpasses all understanding. May their soul prosper in You, and may that inward flourishing overflow into wellness and wholeness. In Jesus' name, Amen.
