Healing

Tachick

Faithful Servant
Could you please pray for me and ask God if He will let me feel better mind and body? Please pray for healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Thank you and God bless you. ###

We hear your cry for healing, both in mind and body, and we join you in lifting this request before our Heavenly Father. Your mention of Jesus’ name is a powerful reminder that it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We are so grateful that you have placed your trust in Him, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

The Word of God assures us that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:2-3), and the One who restores our souls (Psalm 23:3). We know that healing comes in many forms, sometimes instantly, sometimes gradually, and sometimes in ways we do not expect, but we trust that God’s will is perfect and His timing is sovereign.

Father God, we come before You now in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon our dear brother/sister. Lord, You see the weariness in their mind and the pain in their body. We ask that You would pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Bring comfort to their soul and strength to their body. If there is any area of their life that needs repentance or surrender, reveal it to them, Lord, so that nothing hinders Your work in their life.

We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or oppression that may be afflicting them, for Your Word declares that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on Your promises, Lord, and declare that this is the day of their breakthrough. Fill them with hope, faith, and the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We also pray for wisdom for those who are caring for them, doctors, family, and friends. Guide their hands and their words, Lord, so that they may be instruments of Your healing and encouragement.

Above all, we pray that our brother/sister would draw closer to You through this trial, growing in faith and dependence on You. May they experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them always (Matthew 28:20).

We trust You, Lord, and we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. In His precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the weariness behind your request, the simple, honest longing to feel better in mind and body. It can be so draining to carry that ache day after day, and we’re grateful you reached out. Please know that you are not alone; we are joining you in prayer right now.

Bringing our real needs to Jesus is exactly what He invites us to do. He doesn’t require polished words or perfect faith, just a heart that turns toward Him. As we pray, we remember that healing often unfolds in quiet, unhurried ways, not always in a single moment. So we ask for His restoring peace to settle over you even now.

If you haven’t already, we’d also gently encourage you to touch base with a doctor or a wise, trusted counselor. God often uses their skill and compassion as part of our healing journey, and there is no shame in that. It can be one way He answers our prayer.

Father, in Jesus’ name, we lift up this person to You. You know every cell in their body and every thought in their mind. Please draw near and bring relief. Quiet anxious thoughts, soothe weariness, and let Your healing presence be felt, whether through a gentle sense of peace, a good night’s rest, or the care of others. Hold them steady in Your love. We trust You for what we cannot see, and we ask for mercy, strength, and full restoration in Your time. Amen.

You ask the Lord to let you feel better in mind and in body. I know that double ache, when the frame is weary and the spirit within it droops like a flag on a windless day. It is not a small thing to carry both at once, and you have done right to bring it straight to Jesus. He does not turn away those who come asking in His name.

Think of Him for a moment as the Beloved Physician. A doctor does not treat only one part of you and leave the rest to suffer; he takes the whole case into his hands. So our Lord, when He walked among us, never healed a withered limb and left the soul untouched. To the paralysed man let down through the roof He first said, "Your sins are forgiven you," and only then, "Rise, take up your bed and walk." Not because the body did not matter, but because He intended to heal the whole man. He is the same Physician now, and the power of the Lord is still present to heal.

There is no contradiction in your plea: a weary mind and a faltering body often go hand in hand, and grace is given for both. Do not think you must sort yourself out before you come, a patient does not wait until the fever breaks to send for the doctor. The very act of crying out, in Jesus' name, is faith at work. That faith may feel as small as a mustard seed today, but it is fastened to a great Christ.

Perhaps you have been asking, "Will He let me feel better?" Let me turn that question gently round. You know He has already given you the best proof of His willingness. He did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for you. Will He then hold back the smaller mercies of restored peace in the mind and strength in the body? Sometimes the healing comes like a sudden sunrise; other times it steals in so softly that you only notice it looking back. But the hand that was nailed for you is a hand that knows how to bind up wounds.

I have seen a love-letter come in a black-edged envelope, and the news within was pure sweetness. And I have seen affliction arrive wrapped in dark providences, yet inside there were tokens of God's tender care that only the sufferers themselves could read. You are not forgotten in your trouble. If you cannot now trace His hand, you may lean on His heart. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, not because we are strong or deserving, but because He is merciful.

Wait on Him. Speak to Him plainly. And while you wait, do this also: turn your thoughts outward for a moment and breathe a prayer for someone else who suffers. It is a strange and blessed truth that our own captivity often begins to lift when we pray for our friends. Job's restoration came when he prayed for those who had been miserable comforters to him. It may be that as you ask healing for your own mind and body, you will find your soul enlarging to carry another's burden, and in that holy exercise, your own load grows lighter.

Now let us go together to the throne.

Lord Jesus, our dear Physician, look upon this one who calls to You. You know every ache of the body and every shadow that passes over the mind. Speak peace to the troubled thoughts, and let Your restoring power flow into the weariness of the frame. Not because we are worthy, but because You are full of compassion. Grant the sweet sense of Your presence, and in Your wise time let health return like the spring. Hold this dear heart fast through the waiting hours. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
