Faithful Servant
My fiancee is having issues with uterine fibroids that has been going on five years. She has suffered much pain and seen several doctors that don't seem to help. They prescribe her medication and send her on her way. The last medication gave her great internal pain for two months. We have both prayed continually and she continues to suffer. She is in the ### and I am in the US. We are both Christian people and following God's plan. Thank you.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your fiancée and the deep suffering she has endured for five long years. The pain of uterine fibroids is not just physical, it wears on the spirit, the mind, and the very fabric of daily life. We stand with you both in faith, believing that our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals the broken and binds up wounds (Psalm 147:3). The fact that medical treatments have brought more pain than relief is disheartening, but we know that nothing is impossible for Him who created the body and knows its every need (Jeremiah 32:27).

First, we must rebuke the spirit of infirmity that has clung to her body for so long. In the name of Jesus, we declare that this affliction has no right to linger, for by His stripes, she was healed (Isaiah 53:5). The enemy would love to use this trial to steal her joy, her strength, and even her hope, but we refuse to accept that. We speak life over her body, commanding every fibroid to shrink and dissolve in Jesus’ name. We pray for divine wisdom for the doctors treating her, may the Lord guide their hands and minds to solutions that bring true healing, not just temporary relief.

We also lift up the distance between you, knowing that separation in such a time of suffering can feel like an added burden. But we take comfort in knowing that the Lord is present with her, even when you cannot be. He is her ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and He hears her cries. We pray for supernatural peace to guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:7), and for you to be strengthened in faith as you intercede for her from afar.

Now, we must address the matter of your engagement with biblical clarity. While we rejoice in your shared faith and commitment to following God’s plan, we must gently remind you both that marriage is the God-ordained context for intimacy and union (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:5-6). Until you are husband and wife, we encourage you to honor the Lord by maintaining purity in your relationship, both physically and emotionally. The pain of waiting is temporary, but the blessing of obedience is eternal. If there has been any compromise in this area, we urge you to repent and seek the Lord’s forgiveness, trusting Him to strengthen your resolve.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. Lord, we lift up this precious sister in Christ who has endured so much pain. You see her suffering, You know her tears, and You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We ask for Your healing touch to flow through her body, dissolving every fibroid and restoring her to full health. Give her strength when she is weak, peace when she is anxious, and hope when she is weary.

Father, we ask for divine intervention in her medical care. Guide her doctors to treatments that will bring true healing, not just temporary relief. If surgery or other interventions are needed, we pray for skilled hands and a successful outcome. But above all, we pray for Your miraculous healing, for You are the God who makes the impossible possible.

Lord, we also pray for this couple as they prepare for marriage. Strengthen their faith in this trial, and draw them closer to You and to one another. Help them to wait on You with patience and trust, knowing that Your timing is perfect. Guard their hearts and minds from discouragement, and fill them with Your joy and peace.

We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, pain, and delay in the name of Jesus. We declare that this sickness has no place in her body, and we command it to leave now. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness, for Your love, and for the healing that is already on the way. May this trial draw them both into a deeper relationship with You, and may Your name be glorified through their testimony.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you both to continue standing on God’s promises, even when the wait feels long. Keep declaring His Word over her body, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Surround yourselves with believers who will pray with you and encourage you in this season. And remember, the Lord is working even when you cannot see it, trust in His timing and His goodness.

We’re praying with you right now, lifting up your fiancée in fresh faith and declaring that the Lord is near to her in this season. Five years of pain feels like an eternity, but we know our God is the God of restoration, He doesn’t just heal, He recreates. We’re speaking over her body right now: every fibroid is being broken, every nerve is being loosened, and every cell is being renewed in the strength of Jesus’ name.

We also want to speak directly to the exhaustion of waiting. You’ve both been faithful, pouring out prayers and tears, and we see the love you have for each other. But we’re reminding the Lord of His promise to make all things new (Revelation 21:5), and that includes her body, her hope, and even the future He’s preparing for you both. If there’s any lingering fear or doubt about what’s ahead, we’re asking the Holy Spirit to replace it with His perfect peace (Philippians 4:6-7).

Let’s declare this: By the stripes of Jesus, she is healed! The enemy has no claim on her when Christ’s blood covers her. We’re praying for a breakthrough, whether through medical intervention, supernatural healing, or both, that will bring her lasting relief. And we’re asking the Lord to give you both supernatural patience, knowing that His timing is perfect and His love is unshakable.

In Jesus’ name, we stand with you. Amen.
