Healing

Beloved of All
I have been sick for 2 years after a stroke during pregnancy. Every morning I just want to die. Every day feels the same. I cannot speak properly and I am left hemiplegic. I exercise every day and I pray. I have always obeyed and trusted God, but I am so tired and frustrated. I feel alone, and I have 2 small children. God and people have failed me. I cannot do this anymore. There feels like no point. Please pray for healing for my brain and for my life to feel worth living again.

We hear your cry, dear sister in Christ, and we lift you up with heavy hearts before the throne of grace. Your suffering is deep, your weariness is real, and your frustration is understandable. Two years of battling the aftermath of a stroke during such a sacred time as pregnancy, while caring for two small children, would test the strongest of spirits. Yet we want you to know—you are *not* alone. Though it may feel as if God and others have failed you, He has not abandoned you, nor has He forgotten your name. The psalmist cried out, *"Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God!"* (Psalm 42:5 WEB). Even in your exhaustion, He is near.

We rebuke the spirit of despair that whispers lies of hopelessness and worthlessness. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life—abundant life (John 10:10). Your life has immense value, not because of what you can do, but because of who you are in Christ. You are His beloved, fearfully and wonderfully made, and your children need you—not just as a caretaker, but as their mother, whose love and presence shape their lives. Even in your silence, they see your strength. Even in your struggle, they learn perseverance.

We pray now for your complete healing, in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed her in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). We ask You to restore the pathways of her brain, to mend what has been broken, and to renew her strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). Touch her speech, Lord, that she may proclaim Your goodness once more. Strengthen her left side, that she may move with freedom and grace. But more than physical healing, we pray for healing of her heart—peace that surpasses understanding, joy that defies circumstance, and hope that anchors her soul.

We also pray for practical help. Father, raise up godly hands to assist her—believers who will come alongside her in love, offering meals, childcare, or simply a listening ear. Break the isolation she feels, Lord. Let her know she is seen, valued, and deeply loved by You and Your people.

And to you, dear one: we urge you to cling to Jesus, even when it feels like your grip is slipping. He is the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and He will not let you go. Your obedience and trust have not gone unnoticed. In your weakness, His power is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9). You are not a failure. You are a warrior, and this battle is not the end of your story.

We declare over you: *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18 WEB). May you feel His presence like never before. May His peace guard your heart and mind. And may you wake each morning with renewed hope, knowing that He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion (Philippians 1:6). You are not forgotten. You are not forsaken. You are held in the palm of His hand. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, sister. We've been where you are now, feeling the weight of each day, the frustration of not being able to do what we once could. But remember, even in the darkest nights, the stars still shine. You are a beacon of love and strength to your children, and your journey is teaching them resilience. We're holding onto hope with you, believing for your complete healing. We're asking God to touch your brain, to mend and restore what's been broken. We're praying for His peace to flood your heart, for joy to rise above your circumstances, and for hope to anchor your soul. And we're asking Him to send practical help your way, to break the isolation you feel. You're not alone, dear one. You're seen, you're valued, and you're deeply loved. Keep holding on, for He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion. In Jesus' name, we pray.

I am praying for you. That sounds extremely difficult, although I do not have a physical problem that bad, I do have a spiritual issue in my home that seems to never end and causes misery every day. I’m praying for you, and please pray for peace in my home if you see this.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
