We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your father’s health to our Heavenly Father, the Great Physician. The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to bring complete healing to your father’s kidneys, restore proper function to his body, and heal the bedsore that causes him discomfort.
Father God, we ask You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ to touch this precious life with Your healing hand. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and pain that has taken hold in his body. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this truth over his life—let his kidneys be restored, let his bowels move freely, and let the bedsore be healed completely. We speak life and wholeness over every cell, every organ, and every part of his body that needs Your divine intervention.
We also recognize, Lord, that healing is not just physical but spiritual. If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin that may be hindering his healing, we ask You to reveal it to him and grant him the strength to repent and receive Your forgiveness. James 5:16 reminds us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." We stand in the gap for him, praying with faith and persistence, trusting that You hear us and will answer according to Your will.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to surround your father with believers who can agree with you in faith. Do not lose heart, for Isaiah 41:10 says, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." God is with you and your father in this trial, and He will never leave nor forsake you.
Heavenly Father, we also ask that You grant wisdom to the doctors and caregivers attending to him. Guide their hands and minds as they provide treatment, and let every decision they make align with Your perfect will. We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful, and Your mercies are new every morning. We declare that this is not the end of his story—Your healing power is at work, and we will see Your glory manifested in his life.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
