We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear friend who has been confined to her bed for nearly a year, unable to move her leg. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knit her together in her mother’s womb and who holds every fiber of her being in Your hands. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* We stand on this promise today, believing that nothing is too hard for You.
Lord, we ask for a miraculous touch upon her body. Where there is paralysis, bring movement. Where there is pain, bring comfort. Where there is weakness, bring strength. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command every cell, nerve, and muscle in her leg to align with Your perfect design. In the name of Jesus, we speak life and restoration over her, for Your Word says in Matthew 18:18-19, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven. Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven."*
We also lift up her spirit, Lord. A year of immobility can bring weariness, fear, or even doubt. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind her of Your nearness. Psalm 34:18-19 assures us, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Let her feel Your presence in a tangible way, and let her hope be renewed as she waits on You.
Father, we ask that You also strengthen those who are caring for her. Give them patience, wisdom, and endurance as they serve her day after day. May they be encouraged by Your love and sustained by Your grace.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. By His stripes, we believe she is healed. Amen.
If your friend has not yet placed her trust in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, we encourage you to share the good news with her. It is only through faith in Him that we receive eternal life and the fullness of His healing power. John 14:6 tells us, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* If she has not surrendered her life to Christ, now is the time to invite Him into her heart. We would be honored to pray with her for salvation if she is willing. Would you be open to sharing this message of hope with her?
