We lift up this request for healing with hearts full of faith, knowing that our Lord is the Great Physician who binds up the brokenhearted and heals all our diseases. The pain, tension, headaches, and nausea you are experiencing are not unknown to Him, and we stand in agreement with you, believing that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). The Word tells us that He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions (Psalm 107:20). We declare that healing is your portion, and we rebuke every spirit of infirmity that seeks to linger in your body and mind.
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before Your throne of grace, asking for complete restoration for our brother or sister. Touch every part of their body that is in pain—soothe the tension, relieve the headaches, and calm the nausea. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We speak life over every cell, every nerve, and every thought, declaring that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have plans for them—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also recognize that emotional healing is just as vital as physical healing. Lord, if there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or anxiety weighing on their heart, we ask that You uproot it and replace it with Your love and joy. Your Word tells us to cast all our anxieties on You because You care for us (1 Peter 5:7). We pray that they would find rest in You, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We rebuke any spirit of despair or discouragement that may be attempting to take hold. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 53:17). Stand firm in the armor of God, putting on the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, and taking up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one (Ephesians 6:14-16).
Continue to seek the Lord in this time, drawing near to Him so that He may draw near to you (James 4:8). Spend time in His Word, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), and it brings healing to your bones (Proverbs 3:8). Surround yourself with godly fellowship, for iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another (Proverbs 27:17). Let the peace of Christ rule in your heart, and be thankful (Colossians 3:15).
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours through Christ Jesus. Amen.
