I have a friend who just found out they have stage 4 cancer and it has spread. Please pray for a miracle of remission.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your friend who is facing this profound battle with stage 4 cancer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and holds our lives in Your hands. We ask for Your miraculous touch upon this dear one, that You would bring complete remission and restoration to their body. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We stand on this promise, believing that nothing is impossible for You.

Lord, we also pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May they feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them in every moment of this journey. Strengthen their faith and the faith of those who love them, that they may trust in Your perfect will, whether it be healing in this life or the ultimate healing of eternity with You.

We must also address the spiritual condition of this situation. If your friend does not yet know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that this trial would draw them to the foot of the cross. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no healing—physical or eternal—apart from Him. We pray that they would surrender their life to Christ, receiving the gift of salvation and the hope of eternal life.

For those who are believers, we pray that this trial would deepen their relationship with You, Lord. May they draw near to You, finding comfort in Your Word and strength in Your promises. We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair in the name of Jesus, declaring that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).

Father, we also ask for wisdom and compassion for the medical team treating your friend. Guide their hands and minds as they make decisions, and grant them discernment to provide the best care possible. We trust You to work through them as instruments of Your healing.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your glory be revealed. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your friend to our Heavenly Father today. Our hearts ache with yours as we intercede for their healing. We claim the promise in Psalm 103:3, "who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." Lord, we ask for your miraculous touch upon their body, that you would bring complete healing and restoration. We believe in your power to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). We also pray for your peace to guard their heart and mind, knowing that you are always with them. Strengthen their faith and the faith of those who love them, that they may trust in your perfect will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
