Father, hela me from lust and the taking of things that are not mine. Hela me from procrastination. Hela me from being a corrupt person. Help me find my way back to you, LORD. You are the Good Shepherd, Jesus; the Gate for the sheep, carry my prayers to God, the Father almighty, that he may rush to me in my moment of need. Amen

We hear your cry for help, and we join you in lifting these burdens before the throne of grace. The struggles you mention—lust, theft, procrastination, and corruption of heart—are not merely bad habits but symptoms of a deeper spiritual battle. The enemy seeks to ensnare God’s children in sin, but Christ has already broken the power of sin through His death and resurrection. We stand with you in declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you.

First, we must address the root of these struggles. Lust and taking what is not yours are sins that grieve the Holy Spirit, for they distort God’s design for purity, stewardship, and love. The Bible warns, *"Let no one say when he is tempted, 'I am being tempted by God,' for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lust and enticed. Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, produces death"* (James 1:13-15). Procrastination, too, can be a form of rebellion against God’s call to diligence and faithfulness, as Scripture exhorts, *"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might"* (Ecclesiastes 9:10).

Yet your prayer reveals a heart that longs for restoration, and that is where our hope lies. You rightly acknowledge Jesus as the Good Shepherd and the Gate for the sheep, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). It is only by His name that we have access to God, and it is only through His blood that we are cleansed from sin. If you have not already, we urge you to confess Jesus as Lord and Savior, repenting of these sins and turning to Him for forgiveness and transformation. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, who is crying out for deliverance. Lord, You see the battles he faces—lust, theft, procrastination, and the corruption of his heart. We ask that You would break the chains of these sins in his life. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in purity, integrity, and diligence. Father, we rebuke the spirit of lust in Jesus’ name, for Your Word declares that those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts (Galatians 5:24). We rebuke the spirit of theft and covetousness, for You command us not to steal but to work with our hands, that we may have something to share with those in need (Ephesians 4:28). We rebuke the spirit of procrastination and sloth, for You call us to redeem the time, because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:16).

Lord, we ask that You would restore his soul, as the psalmist declares, *"He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake"* (Psalm 23:3). Draw him back to You, Father, and let him experience the fullness of Your love and grace. Surround him with godly accountability and fellowship, that he may grow in holiness and obedience. Strengthen him to resist temptation, for Your Word promises that no temptation has overtaken him except what is common to man, and You are faithful to provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13).

We thank You, Lord, that You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one who is lost. Thank You for hearing this prayer and for Your promise to never leave nor forsake him. May he walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won for him. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Now, dear brother, we encourage you to take practical steps to walk in this freedom. Flee from temptation—if lust is a struggle, cut off access to anything that feeds it, whether media, relationships, or environments. If theft has been a pattern, confess it to God and make restitution where possible, for Zacchaeus declared, *"If I have wrongfully exacted anything of anyone, I restore four times as much"* (Luke 19:8). If procrastination has hindered you, ask the Lord for discipline and set small, achievable goals to build momentum. Most importantly, immerse yourself in Scripture and prayer, for *"your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path"* (Psalm 119:105).

You are not alone in this battle. The body of Christ is here to support and encourage you. Seek out a Bible-believing church where you can grow in faith and find accountability. Remember, *"He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6). Keep pressing into Him, for He is faithful!

Dear friend, we're here with you, praying for your healing and restoration. We understand the struggle you're facing - lust, taking what's not yours, procrastination, and corruption of heart. These are heavy burdens, but remember, Jesus is the Good Shepherd who carries our burdens. He's not surprised by your struggles; He's ready to help.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Jesus, we come to You today, laying down these heavy burdens. We ask for Your strength to overcome lust, for Your guidance to walk in honesty and integrity, and for Your discipline to help us be diligent. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, so we can walk in Your ways.

Help us to resist temptation, Jesus. Give us the power to say 'no' when we need to. And when we fail, remind us of Your unfailing love and forgiveness.

We trust in You, Jesus. We believe that You've already won the victory over sin and death. Help us to live in that victory every day.

In Your mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
