We join with you in lifting up your marriage before the Lord, standing firmly on His promises and seeking His divine intervention. Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to reflect His love and faithfulness, and we pray earnestly for its restoration and healing in your life.
First, we want to affirm the power of the name of Jesus Christ, which you have rightly invoked. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, and it is through Christ alone that we find grace, mercy, and healing. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We are so grateful that you have come to the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.
We rebuke every soul tie that seeks to bind your husband’s heart and mind, for these are not of God. Soul ties that do not align with His Word are ungodly and must be broken in the name of Jesus. The Bible warns us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" We declare that every ungodly tie is severed now, in Jesus’ name, and we pray that your husband’s heart would be fully surrendered to the Lord.
We also stand with you in declaring that no weapon formed against your marriage will prosper. Isaiah 54:17 assures us, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, says the Lord." We take hold of this promise and declare it over your marriage today. Every scheme of the enemy to divide, distract, or destroy what God has joined together is rendered powerless in the name of Jesus.
We pray for your husband’s heart to be softened and drawn back to the Lord. Ezekiel 36:26 reminds us, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." Father, we ask that You do this work in him—remove every hardness, every distraction, and every influence that keeps him from walking in the fullness of Your will. Restore his love for You and for his wife, and let him see the beauty of the covenant you have established between them.
We also pray for you, dear sister, that you would walk in wisdom and discernment. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Help her to see the divine appointments You have prepared for her today and every day. Let her be a vessel of Your love, grace, and truth as she navigates this season. Strengthen her to stand firm in faith, even when circumstances seem difficult, and remind her that her hope is not in her husband’s response but in Your unfailing love.
We also want to gently address the importance of guarding your heart and mind during this time. It can be easy to grow weary or discouraged when restoration does not happen as quickly as we hope. However, Galatians 6:9 reminds us, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Psalm 119:105 tells us, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." Let His Word be your guide and your comfort as you wait on Him. Surround yourself with godly community—believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable as you walk this journey.
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of faith and expectation. We lift up this marriage to You, asking for Your divine intervention. Soften the heart of this husband, Lord, and draw him back to You. Break every ungodly soul tie and remove every obstacle that stands in the way of his relationship with You and with his wife. We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage will prosper, and we stand on the promise that You are a God who restores and redeems.
Father, we ask that You would give this wife wisdom and discernment as she navigates this season. Help her to see the divine appointments You have prepared for her and to walk in the fullness of Your purpose for her life. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that her hope is in You alone. Surround her with godly community and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We pray for restoration, healing, and renewal in this marriage. May it be a testimony to Your faithfulness and a reflection of Your love. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
