We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage in prayer, asking for His divine healing and restoration. Marriage is a sacred covenant, established by God Himself, and it is meant to reflect the love and faithfulness of Christ to His church (Ephesians 5:25-33). When a marriage is under attack, it is not merely a struggle between two people—it is a spiritual battle, and we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ to rebuke every scheme of the enemy.
Father God, we ask You to heal this marriage. Where there is brokenness, bring Your wholeness. Where there is distrust, restore faith and loyalty. Where there has been pain, pour out Your comfort and peace. We declare that no weapon formed against this union shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every spirit of division, infidelity, and interference in the mighty name of Jesus. Any outside influences or ungodly attachments that do not belong in this marriage must be removed by Your power, Lord. We command them to leave now and never return, for this is a covenant under Your protection.
We also recognize that healing requires repentance, humility, and a willingness to forgive. If there has been sin—whether through unfaithfulness, bitterness, or neglect—we pray for godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). Help both husband and wife to examine their hearts, confess their faults to one another, and seek reconciliation with a spirit of love and grace. Remind them that love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8) and that forgiveness is not optional for those who have been forgiven by Christ.
Lord, we ask that You would rekindle the love and commitment that first brought this couple together. Let them remember the vows they made before You and renew their dedication to honor one another as You have called them to do. Strengthen them to fight for their marriage, not against each other, and to seek You together in prayer, in Your Word, and in fellowship with other believers who can encourage and support them.
We also lift up any children or family members affected by this struggle. Protect their hearts and minds, and let them see the power of God at work in their parents’ lives. May this trial ultimately draw this family closer to You and to one another.
Finally, we declare that this marriage is under the blood of Jesus, and no force of hell can prevail against it when it is built on the foundation of Christ. We thank You for Your faithfulness, Lord, and we trust You to complete the good work You have begun in this union. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
