Humble Servant of All
It honestly feels like a slap in the face seeing ### add ### and ### to his friends list. Those two said some really nasty things about me—they even told me the band didn’t want me around anymore. That absolutely gutted me at the time. Only later did I discover none of it was true. ### eventually took me back in, sided with me, and I realized there were even more rumors going around behind my back. This all happened a while ago, when ### was still drumming for the band. Then the other day, I checked out ###’s friends list and there they both were—### and ###. It really stung. After everything, it just felt off for him to welcome them back. I even remember asking him once if he’d add me and ###, but he never did. That honestly hurt—he was happy to reconnect with people who’d lied about me, but not with us. I still don’t get it. Logically, I know I shouldn’t take it so personally, but I do. What really gets to me is that other people I know, like ### and ###, aren’t on his Facebook either. Normally, that wouldn’t matter, but with ###, it does.

For years, I looked up to him. I thought he was the real deal—just a really good person and an incredible singer. I admired him a lot, almost like I’d known him in some other life. Maybe that’s why this all feels so raw. I always supported the band, made sure to thank him for his music, called him a rock star, and even prayed for him when he was going through tough times. ### and I used to wear ### shirts to their shows. ### noticed ###’s shirt once and even mentioned it, but never said a word to me when I wore mine. It bothered me—maybe more than I wanted to admit. Every word ### said meant something to me.

When I first met him, it was like there was this instant connection—a kind of energy I can’t really explain. I loved catching his eye; it always made me feel a bit electrified. I still remember how he’d perform “Nights in White Satin” at the end of the night. That song always touched me, even if I can’t explain exactly why. When he sang “Wicked Game,” I’d be overwhelmed with emotion. Honestly, when I first started going to ### shows, the whole thing just hit me so hard. I’d come home and cry every night for a while. I’d think about ### for days after a gig, just sort of stuck in my own head, feeling that weird connection.

But now, I almost wish I’d never gone to see them—or met ###—because it’s all just gotten to be too much. It’s confusing, way too intense for me, and I just don’t want to feel like this anymore. I find myself praying for these feelings to go away. I’m not in love with him, it’s just that it always felt like I knew him in another life.

We hear the deep hurt and confusion in your words, and we want you to know that your pain is valid. The betrayal of trust, the spread of lies, and the feeling of being overlooked—especially by someone you admired—can leave wounds that run deep. It’s clear that this situation has stirred up emotions that go beyond simple disappointment, touching something much more personal and vulnerable within you. We want to address this with truth, compassion, and the healing power of God’s Word.

First, we must gently but firmly rebuke the enemy’s work in this situation. The Bible tells us in John 10:10 that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly. The lies, the division, and the pain you’ve experienced are not from God. They are tools of the enemy to sow discord, breed insecurity, and keep you bound in emotional turmoil. We rebuke those lies in the name of Jesus and command every spirit of confusion, rejection, and bitterness to leave you now. You are a child of God, and you are deeply loved by Him. No weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that the enemy’s plans to keep you in this cycle of hurt will not stand.

We also want to address the nature of your feelings toward this individual. It’s clear that your admiration for him has crossed into something that feels almost spiritual or supernatural—a sense of connection that transcends ordinary friendship. While it’s natural to admire someone for their talent or character, the intensity of your emotions suggests that this may have become an idol in your heart. The Bible warns us in Exodus 20:3-5 that we are to have no other gods before Him. When we place someone—even unintentionally—on a pedestal, we risk making them an idol, and idolatry always leads to disappointment and pain. We encourage you to examine your heart and ask God to reveal any areas where you may have elevated this person above Him. The Lord is a jealous God (Exodus 34:14), and He desires your whole heart, not just the pieces left over after your admiration for someone else.

We also want to speak to the issue of unrequited emotional attachment. The Bible is clear that our affections should be ordered according to God’s design. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, love is described as patient, kind, not self-seeking, and not easily angered. The emotions you’ve described—feeling electrified by his presence, being overwhelmed by his performances, and even crying after shows—go beyond admiration and into a realm that can be unhealthy if not surrendered to God. We are not saying this to shame you, but to gently redirect your heart toward the One who can truly satisfy it. Jesus alone is the source of true fulfillment, and any other attachment, no matter how innocent it may seem, will ultimately leave you empty. We pray that God would break any unhealthy soul ties or emotional dependencies that have formed and replace them with His perfect peace.

Now, let us turn to the Lord in prayer for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister who is hurting. Lord, we ask that You would heal the wounds in her heart that have been caused by betrayal, lies, and rejection. We declare that You are the God who sees her pain, and You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You would pour out Your comfort and peace upon her, reminding her that she is deeply loved by You and that her worth is found in You alone.

Father, we ask that You would break any unhealthy attachments or idols in her heart. We pray that You would reveal to her any areas where she has placed her hope or trust in something—or someone—other than You. Lord, we ask that You would fill the empty spaces in her heart with Your love, Your truth, and Your presence. Help her to see herself as You see her: a beloved daughter, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for her. Lord, help her to navigate these emotions with clarity and to surrender them fully to You. Give her the strength to release this burden and to trust in Your plan for her life. We declare that she will no longer be bound by these feelings but will walk in the freedom that comes from knowing You.

Father, we ask that You would restore her joy and her peace. Help her to find her identity in You and not in the opinions or actions of others. We pray that she would experience Your healing touch in every area of her life and that she would come to know You more deeply through this trial. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We want to encourage you with the truth of God’s Word. In Jeremiah 29:11, the Lord says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.” Even in this pain, God has a plan for you—a plan for hope, for healing, and for a future that is secure in Him. We encourage you to draw near to Him, to spend time in His Word, and to seek His face. The Lord is your refuge and your strength (Psalm 46:1), and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

We also encourage you to seek godly community. Surround yourself with believers who can speak truth into your life, pray with you, and hold you accountable. The enemy wants to isolate you, but God has called us to live in fellowship with one another (Hebrews 10:24-25). Lean on your brothers and sisters in Christ during this time, and allow them to walk with you as you heal.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your worth is not defined by the actions or opinions of others. You are a child of the Most High God, and He has called you by name (Isaiah 43:1). You are precious in His sight, and He has a purpose for your life that is greater than any pain or disappointment you may be experiencing. Trust in Him, and allow His love to fill the places in your heart that feel empty. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

I'm really sorry to hear that you're going through this, friend. It's never easy when we feel betrayed by people we admire and thought were friends. It's like a punch in the gut, isn't it? I can't even imagine how much it must have hurt to find out that they were saying those nasty things about you, especially when you had always supported them and their music.

But you know what? You don't deserve to be treated like that. No one does. And it's okay to feel hurt, angry, or confused. God gave us these emotions for a reason, and it's important to acknowledge them. But remember, we don't have to let them control us. We can choose to hand them over to God and trust that He will work everything out for our good, even when it doesn't feel like it (Romans 8:28).

I want to encourage you to keep praying and seeking God's face through this. He sees your pain, and He's right there with you, comforting you and healing your heart. Keep spending time in His Word, and surround yourself with people who will speak truth and love into your life. You don't have to go through this alone.

And hey, it's okay if you're still feeling raw about this. Healing takes time, and it's a process. Just keep taking it one step at a time, and trust that God is working behind the scenes, even when you can't see it. You are loved, valued, and never alone. Keep holding on to that truth, okay?

Let's keep praying for each other, yeah? In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your heart before the Lord these past days. Your pain—raw, personal, and so deeply felt—has not been met with empty words, but with earnest intercession. We have asked our Father to heal the wounds left by betrayal, to lift the weight of confusion, and to restore peace where hurt has taken root. It is clear how much this has touched your spirit, and we have prayed specifically for the Lord to untangle the emotions that feel too heavy to bear alone.

We’ve asked God to bring clarity where there is confusion, to replace the sting of rejection with the comfort of His presence, and to remind you of His unfailing love—especially when human relationships fall short. You mentioned feeling like this was a "slap in the face," and we’ve lifted that up, asking the Lord to soften the memory of those moments and replace them with His truth: that you are seen, valued, and deeply loved by Him, regardless of how others may treat you.

We’ve also prayed for the healing of those old wounds from the lies and rumors, asking God to bring full restoration to your heart and mind. It’s one thing to logically know you shouldn’t take things personally, but quite another to feel it in your spirit—and we’ve asked the Lord to meet you in that place of vulnerability. We’ve stood in agreement with you for the release of any lingering bitterness, for the mending of trust where it’s been broken, and for the strength to let go of what no longer serves your peace.

Most of all, we’ve prayed for the Lord to quiet the intensity of these emotions in a way that only He can. You’ve shared how this connection felt almost otherworldly, and we’ve asked God to either redeem it in a way that brings you joy or to gently remove it from your heart if it’s causing more pain than purpose. We’ve asked Him to help you release the "what ifs" and the "whys," trusting that He holds your story in His hands.

If the Lord has already begun to answer these prayers—if you’ve sensed even a small measure of His peace, healing, or clarity—we would be so encouraged to hear how He’s moving. But if the hurt still feels fresh or the questions still linger, we want you to know we’re not stepping away. We’ll continue to stand with you in prayer, believing that God is at work even when we can’t see it yet.

May the Lord bless you with His nearness in this season. May He remind you that your worth is not defined by who includes or excludes you, but by the One who calls you His own. May He bring healing to every corner of your heart that aches, and may you feel His love wrapping around you like a warm embrace. We pray all of this in the powerful and compassionate name of Jesus. Amen.
