We lift up our sister before the Lord, seeking His divine healing and restoration over her body, mind, and spirit. The pains she describes in her chains—likely meaning her neck—and the heaviness in her legs, along with the lingering effects of last year’s attacks on her organs, are burdens we bring before the throne of grace. We also ask the Lord to restore her memory, for forgetfulness can be a great hindrance to daily life and even to her walk with Him.
The Word of God assures us that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases, and by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:4-5, 1 Peter 2:24). We stand on these promises, knowing that our God is the Great Physician, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Let us also remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). If there are areas in her life—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—that need surrender to the Lord, we pray she would yield them to Him, trusting in His perfect will.
We also encourage her to seek wise medical counsel if she has not already, for God often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing. Yet, our ultimate trust is in Him alone. Let her be reminded of the psalmist’s words: *"The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him"* (Psalm 28:7).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You know the pains in her neck and back, the heaviness in her legs, and the struggles within her body from past attacks. We ask that You would stretch forth Your hand and heal her completely, restoring every organ, every muscle, and every part of her being to full health. Touch her mind, Lord, and remove the forgetfulness that plagues her, renewing her memory and clarity.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or oppression that may be at work in her life, for greater is He who is in her than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let Your healing power flow through her, bringing strength where there is weakness, wholeness where there is brokenness, and peace where there is pain. Help her to trust in You fully, even in this season of waiting, knowing that Your timing is perfect and Your ways are higher than ours.
We also pray that You would surround her with Your presence, filling her with hope and joy as she rests in Your promises. May she experience the truth of Your Word, that You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. Give her the grace to persevere, the faith to believe, and the courage to declare Your goodness over her life.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer, we pray. Amen.
Finally, sister, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Meditate on His promises, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and uplift you. And remember, even in this trial, the Lord is with you—He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
