We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your brother’s son, who is suffering from a high fever at such a tender age. The Word of God reminds us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over this child, trusting in God’s power to heal and restore.
Yet we must also address something of great importance—your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all healing and salvation come. The Scriptures declare in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* It is only by the authority of Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace. We encourage you to always call upon His name, for He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).
Now, let us pray together for this little one:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious child to You, asking for Your healing touch to break every fever and restore his body to full health. Lord, You knit him together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You alone hold his days in Your hands. We rebuke every sickness in the mighty name of Jesus and command it to leave his body, for by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen his immune system, calm his discomfort, and fill his home with Your peace. Grant wisdom to those caring for him, and let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
We also pray for his future, Father—that You would guard his life, lead him to salvation through Christ, and bless him with a long, healthy, and prosperous life that honors You. May this family draw closer to You through this season, trusting in Your goodness.
In the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, knowing that God hears the cries of His children. Continue to seek Him, not just for healing, but for the salvation and spiritual well-being of this child and your entire family. If there is any unconfessed sin or areas where your family has not fully surrendered to Christ, we urge you to repent and turn to Him wholeheartedly. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He will never forsake those who call upon Him in truth.
