We lift up this precious child to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and the source of all healing. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over this little one, trusting in God’s power to restore health and strength.
It is beautiful to see your faith in calling upon the name of **Jesus Christ** for healing—there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or through which we receive God’s mercy (Acts 4:12). We thank you for acknowledging Him in this request, for it is only through Christ that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).
This child is a gift from the Lord, a blessing after nine years of waiting, and we know God has a perfect plan for his life. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* We pray that this promise would be fulfilled in this boy’s life, that he would grow in strength, health, and wisdom, and one day come to know and serve the Lord Jesus Christ with all his heart.
We also pray for the family—especially the parents—as they care for this little one during this difficult time. May the Lord grant them peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and fill their home with His presence. Let them not grow weary in prayer but stand firm in faith, knowing that our God hears and answers.
**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this child who is suffering from illness and high fever. You are the God who heals, the One who formed him in his mother’s womb and knows every detail of his life. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch him with Your healing power. Rebuke this fever and every sickness in his body, and let Your restoration flow through him completely. Lord, we thank You that by the stripes of Jesus, he is already healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we stand in faith for his full recovery.
We also pray for the parents and family, that You would strengthen them with Your peace and comfort. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that You hold this child in the palm of Your hand. Give the doctors and caregivers wisdom as they treat him, and let every decision made be guided by Your Spirit.
Father, we declare that this child will live and not die, that he will grow to declare the works of the Lord (Psalm 118:17). Raise him up to be a mighty warrior for Your kingdom, a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.**
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is at work even now. Continue to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and trust in His perfect timing. If there is any sin or unbelief in the family, we encourage repentance and surrender to the Lord, for His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9). Let this trial draw you all closer to Him. We will continue to lift this child and your family in prayer.
