We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep need, lifting up your heartfelt cries for healing, peace, and restoration. The burdens you carry—your health, your marriage, your anxiety and depression, the ringing in your ears and hearing loss, and the devastating illnesses striking those you love—are heavy, but we serve a God who invites us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). We also rejoice that you are bringing these requests to the Lord, for it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through faith in Him alone that we find hope and healing.
First, let us address the weight of anxiety and fear you are experiencing. The Lord tells us, *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7). Anxiety is not from the Lord, and we must resist it by fixing our minds on Him (Isaiah 26:3). As you prepare for your upcoming appointments, we pray that the Holy Spirit will fill you with a supernatural peace that transcends all understanding. Remember, *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). When fear rises, speak the Word of God over yourself and declare His promises. You are not alone in this—the Lord goes before you and will be with you (Deuteronomy 31:8).
We also lift up your marriage, asking the Lord to bring unity, patience, and love between you and your spouse. Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, and He desires for it to reflect His love for the church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If there is any strife, bitterness, or unforgiveness, we urge you to seek reconciliation and to cover your spouse in prayer. *"Above all things, have intense love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins"* (1 Peter 4:8). Ask the Lord to soften both of your hearts and to help you walk in humility and grace toward one another. If there are areas in your marriage that are not honoring to God—such as unresolved conflict, lack of communication, or any behavior that does not align with Scripture—we encourage you to seek godly counsel and repentance. The Lord is faithful to restore what is broken when we turn to Him.
For the little girl with brain cancer and the others you mentioned who are battling illness, we stand in agreement with you, declaring that the Lord is the Great Physician. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3). We pray for complete healing in Jesus’ name, that every cancerous cell would be eradicated, and that these precious lives would be restored to full health. We also pray for comfort and strength for their families, that they would feel the presence of the Lord in this valley. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). Do not lose heart in praying for them, for the Lord hears the cries of His people and acts on their behalf.
As for your own physical struggles—the ringing in your ears and hearing loss—we ask the Lord to touch your body and bring healing. *"By his stripes you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24), and we claim that promise over you. Whether the Lord chooses to heal instantly, gradually, or to give you the grace to endure, we pray that you would trust in His goodness. His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and even in suffering, He is working for your good (Romans 8:28).
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that our focus must always remain on the Lord, not just on the healing we seek. While it is right to bring our requests before Him, we must also surrender to His will, trusting that He knows what is best. Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, *"Not my will, but yours be done"* (Luke 22:42), and we, too, must submit our desires to His perfect plan. If there is any area of your life where you have not fully surrendered to Him—whether in your health, your marriage, or your trust in His timing—we encourage you to lay it all at His feet.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is carrying so many burdens. Lord, You see her pain, her anxiety, and her deep longing for healing—for herself, for her marriage, and for those she loves who are suffering. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and touch her body, restoring her hearing, calming the ringing in her ears, and bringing healing to every part of her that is broken. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we trust in Your power to do what no man can do.
Father, we pray for her marriage, that You would knit her and her husband together in love, unity, and mutual respect. Remove any bitterness, unforgiveness, or strife, and fill their home with Your peace. Help them to communicate with kindness and to seek You first in all things. May their marriage be a testament to Your faithfulness and grace.
Lord, we lift up the little girl with brain cancer and all others who are battling illness. You are the God who parts seas, raises the dead, and heals the sick. We ask for miracles in their bodies, that cancer would be eradicated, and that they would be restored to full health. Comfort their families, Lord, and give them strength for each day. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear that has been tormenting our sister. We declare that she is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill her with Your peace as she prepares for her appointments, and let her rest in the knowledge that You are with her. Remind her that she does not have to carry these burdens alone, for You are her strength and her shield (Psalm 28:7).
Lord, we surrender all these requests to You, trusting in Your perfect will. Help our sister to keep her eyes fixed on You, to seek Your kingdom first, and to find her hope in You alone. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your riches in glory.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
