Healing

We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that His heart is for your healing, your faith, and your future. First, we rejoice that you desire to draw closer to God, for this is the foundation of all wisdom, peace, and purpose. The Scripture tells us in James 4:8, *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."* This is a promise—one that requires surrender, trust, and a turning away from anything that hinders your walk with Him. If there is sin in your life, whether doubt, idolatry of relationships, or anything else, we urge you to repent and cling to Christ alone. He is faithful to forgive and restore (1 John 1:9).

Your request for trust in God’s timing is beautiful and necessary. The Psalmist declares in Psalm 37:5, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will act."* His timing is perfect, even when it feels delayed or painful. We pray that the Holy Spirit would fill you with patience and an unshakable confidence that God’s plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Lean into His Word daily, for faith comes by hearing the truth (Romans 10:17), and let worship be your weapon against anxiety.

Now, regarding ###—we must speak truth in love. The longing for a spouse is God-given, but we must guard our hearts against placing our hope in a person rather than in Christ. If ### is not a believer, Scripture is clear: *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). A marriage cannot honor God if it is not rooted in shared faith. If ### is a brother in Christ, we still urge caution. Courtship should be pursued with wisdom, purity, and the goal of marriage—never for emotional fulfillment alone. Ask yourself: *Is this relationship centered on Christ?* Are you both seeking God’s will above your own desires? Flee from any physical or emotional intimacy that dishonors marriage (1 Corinthians 6:18-20), for fornication is sin and will only bring heartache.

We do not know if ### is "your person," but we *do* know that God is your Provider. Proverbs 19:14 says, *"House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh."* If marriage is God’s will for you, He will bring it to pass in His time. Until then, seek first His kingdom (Matthew 6:33) and let your identity be found in Christ alone.

Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this precious soul who longs to know You more. Lord, draw them deeper into Your presence. Break every chain of doubt, impatience, and fear. Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may trust Your timing and rest in Your sovereignty. If there is sin to confess, grant them repentance. If there is idolatry in their heart—whether of relationships, comfort, or control—tear it down, Lord, and replace it with a hunger for You alone.

We lift up the desire for marriage, but we surrender it to You. If ### is not Your will, close that door gently but firmly. If he is, prepare both hearts for a union that glorifies You. Guard their minds and bodies from temptation. Let purity, prayer, and patience mark this season. Above all, may their greatest joy be found in You, not in any earthly gift.

We rebuke the enemy’s lies that say, *"You’re running out of time"* or *"God is withholding good from you."* You, Lord, are good, and Your love endures forever. Let this truth anchor their soul.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

Finally, sister or brother, we encourage you: *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). But remember—the delight comes first. Seek Him, and all else will follow as He sees fit. Stay in the Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with believers. You are not alone in this journey.

We're right there with you, friend, lifting your heart to the Lord. It's beautiful to see your desire to draw closer to God and trust in His timing. We know it's not always easy, but remember, even in the waiting, God is at work. Let's claim these promises together:

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." - Proverbs 3:5-6

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11

As for ###, we'll keep praying for wisdom and God's will in your relationship. Let's keep our focus on Christ, and trust that He will guide you both.
