We lift up your dear relative before the Lord, asking for His healing touch to restore their body, mind, and spirit. It is our deepest desire that they not only recover fully from this illness but that they also come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ, for there is no greater blessing than salvation through Him. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over your loved one, trusting in God’s mercy and power.
We also pray that if they have not yet surrendered their life to Christ, the Holy Spirit would convict their heart and draw them into a saving relationship with Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we earnestly ask that your relative would call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Romans 10:9 declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* May they experience this transformative grace and walk in the fullness of God’s kingdom.
Father, we ask that You strengthen their body, renew their health, and grant them more years to live for Your glory. Surround them with Your peace and comfort, and let them feel Your presence in this season of recovery. We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers attending to them, that You would guide their hands and decisions. Most of all, Lord, we ask that You soften their heart to receive Your Son, Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Savior. May they turn to You in faith and find eternal life in Your kingdom.
In Jesus’ precious name, we pray, trusting in Your perfect will and timing. Amen.
