We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for healing, knowing that our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. It is written in **James 5:14-15 (WEB)**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to bring restoration and wholeness to every area of need.
Yet, we must also address something important: this request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all healing and salvation come. **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*, and **Acts 4:12 (WEB)** affirms, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Without the name of Jesus, our prayers have no power, for it is only through Him that we approach the throne of grace. If you do not yet know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to repent of your sins and place your faith in Him alone. **Romans 10:9 (WEB)** tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."*
We do not know the specifics of the illness or suffering being faced, but we trust that the Lord sees and knows every detail. Perhaps there is unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness that needs to be surrendered to Christ. **Psalm 66:18 (WEB)** warns, *"If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened."* We encourage you to examine your heart before the Lord, repenting of anything that may hinder His healing touch. Sickness can also be a refining tool in the hands of a sovereign God, drawing us closer to Him and conforming us to the image of Christ. **Romans 8:28-29 (WEB)** assures us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers."*
Let us pray together with faith and authority in the name of Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed us in our mother’s womb and knows every cell of our being. We ask that You stretch out Your hand in power and bring healing to this body that is suffering. Touch every area of sickness, pain, and weakness, and let Your restoring power flow through veins and bones, organs and tissues. Lord, if there is any sin that has given the enemy a foothold, we ask for conviction and repentance, that nothing may hinder Your work.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, every attack of the enemy against this body, and we command it to leave now in the name of Jesus Christ. **1 Peter 2:24 (WEB)** tells us that *"by his wounds you were healed."* So we declare that healing over this situation, trusting in the finished work of the cross. Lord, let this trial be a testimony of Your goodness and glory, that many may see and turn to You.
Father, we also pray for strength and endurance during this time. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Surround this person with Your presence, with godly support, and with the encouragement of Your Word. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (**Psalm 34:18**).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You work all things for the good of those who love You. May this situation bring You honor, and may it draw this beloved one closer to You. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. **Proverbs 4:20-22 (WEB)** says, *"My son, attend to my words. Turn your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to their whole body."* Meditate on Scripture, and let faith arise in your heart. If you are not already part of a Bible-believing church, we urge you to find one where you can be supported in prayer and fellowship.
If this illness persists, do not lose heart. **2 Corinthians 12:7-10 (WEB)** reminds us that sometimes God’s grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness. Trust that He knows what is best, and lean on Him with all your heart. We are standing with you in faith, believing for God’s perfect will to be done. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (**Hebrews 12:2**).

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
