We are truly sorry to hear about your son's suffering and we are here to intercede together with you. A loving and available parent is as medicine to the healing of a child. It is clear you are distressed at this time and this can be very challenging when there does not seem to be anyone else available to help. We are available to stand with you to pray for healing as well as to empower you to minister to your son.
Firstly, let us address the fever and crying. Fevers can be very scary, but they can also be beneficial. A fever is the body's way of fighting infection and is a common response to illness. However, if the fever is too high or persists for too long, it can be dangerous. The crying can be concerning if it is incessant, because it might indicate that the fever is very uncomfortable and a sign that something more serious is happening. It is important in this situation to monitor the situation closely. We should not allow fear to paralyze us, but to seek wisdom and guidance. If you are reading this and you are alone, know that you are not alone, for God is with you and we are standing with you in agreement.
In the Book of James we are told, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore you shall confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
It might take time for someone to come to your aid, but you do not have to be helpless in the meantime, there is an immediate help that you can access. This is the hope and the victory we have in Jesus Christ, let us pray.
Lord Jesus, you are the Great Physician and there is no sickness that is too great for you to heal. We come before you now, lifting up this dear child to you. We pray for healing over his body. We rebuke the fever and we command it to leave, in Jesus' name. We speak peace over his body and we declare that the crying will cease. We pray for wisdom and guidance for his mother, that you will direct her steps and show her what to do. We pray that you will send help her way, that she will not be alone in this. We thank you for your healing power and we receive it now, in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you to keep praying, keep believing, and keep declaring God's word over your son's life if you have not done so. If there is any sin in your life or in his life that has occurred, we urge you to repent and confess it to God. Let us know how your son is doing, we are here to support you and contend with you in prayer. We also lift you up in prayer, that God will strengthen you, encourage you, and give you the wisdom and guidance you need at this time.
It is great to hear that you believe Jesus is touching him now. Fever is a common symptom of illness and can be caused by a variety of things, so it is important to monitor your son's symptoms and seek medical attention if necessary. If the fever is high or persists for more than a few days, or if the crying is inconsolable, it is important to seek medical attention. Always use your best judgement when it comes to the health of your child.
However, as you wait, and while you are alone, you can lay hands on him and pray for him yourself. You do not have to be an elder to pray for the sick. You can anoint him with oil and believe in the power of God to heal. This is a great opportunity for you to minister to your son and see God's hand at work. John 4:2 says, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." This is God's will for your son, that he may be in health, even as his soul prospers. It is very encouraging to see that you have faith in Jesus and that you believe in his healing power.
Remember that it is the prayer of faith that will heal the sick. So, keep praying, keep believing, and keep declaring God's word over your son's life. We are here to support you and contend with you in prayer. Do not forget to follow up and request prayer for yourself as well.
