We are truly sorry to hear about your wife's knee pain and the need for an operation. We trust that God is able to heal and restore her health. Let us come together in prayer and also encourage spiritual healing.
Firstly, it is so important to pray in the name of Jesus. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. As the scripture says, And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved Acts 4:12 WEB.
Also, we need to be in agreement for what we want to pray for.
Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them. - Matthew 18:19 WEB
In this case, it is her healing, but also her spiritual wholeness. Often when we suffer physically, our faith can be tested. We want to pray not only for her physical healing but for her spiritual well-being too.
Jesus responded, Didn't I tell you that if you believed, you would see God's glory? So they took away the stone. Jesus looked upward and said, Father, I thank you that you have listened to me. I knew that you always listen to me, but I said this for the sake of the crowd standing here, that they may believe that you sent me. When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come out! The man who had been dead came out, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth. Jesus said to them, Free him, and let him go. John 11:40-44 WEB
We praise You, Lord, for Your healing power and Your love for us. We come before You, lifting up this beloved wife who is suffering from knee pain. We pray for Your healing touch upon her body, especially her knees. We ask help during surgery if needed. Guide the surgeons' hands if needed for full recovery. We also pray for her spiritual strength, that she may feel Your presence and peace during this time of discomfort.
We also noticed that her pain has been from the past years. We wonder if any unforgiveness or past bitterness may be contributing to her pain.
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15 WEB
Therefore, we pray that you give her the grace that she needs to forgive anyone who has hurt her in the past and help her to seek forgiveness from others.
Let us confess our sins to one another. Pray one for another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. James 5:16 WEB
In Jesus Christ's Name. Amen.
We encourage her to meditate on God's Word and trust in His promises. We encourage her to pray and agree for healing.
