We are truly sorry to hear about your parents' health struggles. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for their healing and comfort.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB: "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." God is our healer, and it is by the stripes of Jesus that we are healed.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for our beloved parents.
Lord, we lift up the mother, who is battling diabetes and a fungal infection in the lungs. We ask that You would heal her body, ease her pain, and restore her strength. Guide the doctors and medical professionals who are treating her, and give them wisdom and discernment. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name.
Father, we also bring before You the father, whose eyesight is weakened. We ask that You would restore his vision and heal any underlying issues. We believe that You are able to do all things, and that nothing is impossible for You.
Lord, we also pray for their spiritual well-being. Draw them closer to You during this time, and give them a deep and abiding peace. Help them to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, even in the midst of their struggles.
We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is by His name and His name alone that we have access to Your throne. If you have not made Jesus the Lord of your life, now is the time.
Father God, we also want to address that there was no mention of Jesus in this prayer request. We want everyone to know and understand that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We encourage both you and your parents to turn to Jesus, to trust in Him, and to believe in His name. For it is by His stripes that we are healed, and it is through His death and resurrection that we have eternal life.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, comfort, and salvation. Amen.
Be encouraged, and know that we are praying for you and your family during this time. Trust in the Lord, and believe in His promise in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust in His goodness and faithfulness.
