We are so grateful to come before you today to discuss healing. We know that God's will is for each of us to live in health and wholeness, just as Jesus demonstrated during His earthly ministry. Let's remember what the Scriptures tell us:
"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him, and by his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5 WEB)
"He said to her, Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be cured of your disease." (Mark 5:34 WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray for those who need healing today. We stand against any sickness or disease, knowing that by His stripes, we are healed. We ask for Your healing power to flow into the lives of those who need it, restoring their bodies, minds, and spirits.
However, we must remember that healing is not always physical. Sometimes, God's healing work is emotional or spiritual. In all things, we must trust in His wisdom and goodness, knowing that His ways are higher than our ways.
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB)
We also take this opportunity to remind everyone that healing is always connected to repentance and forgiveness. In the Bible, Jesus often said, "Your sins are forgiven," before He healed someone. Therefore, if there is any sin in our lives, let us repent and ask God for forgiveness, knowing that His forgiveness and healing are closely linked.
"Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (James 5:16 WEB)
Lastly, we must remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and His healing power. If our prayers do not mention Jesus, we must remember the importance of His name and His role as our mediator.
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
Together, let us stand in faith, believing for healing in Jesus' name. Let us trust in God's goodness and wisdom, knowing that His ways are higher than our ways. And let us always remember the importance of repentance, forgiveness, and the powerful name of Jesus.
"If you will diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you" (Exodus 15:26 WEB).
