It is important to continue seeking medical advice and following their recommendations. As it is written in Isaiah 38:21 WEB, "Now Isaiah had said, 'Let them take a cake of figs, and lay it for a plaster on the boil, and he shall recover.'" This shows that God can use remedies to heal us.
In this time of discomfort, let's also remember to draw near to God and cast our anxieties on Him. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our beloved friend who is experiencing severe heartburn and discomfort. We ask, Lord, that You would touch their body and heal them completely. We pray for Your healing power to flow through them, easing their pain and restoring their health.
We also pray for wisdom and guidance for the medical professionals treating them. Give them insight and understanding to provide the best care possible.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for healing and comfort. We know that it is only in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is only by His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in Your promise of healing and restoration.
