Disciple of Prayer
I have been having trouble swallowing and with horrible heartburn and GED. I went to doctor and they did bloodwork and an endoscopy during which they took several biopsies. I am so afraid awaiting results that something is really wrong. Please pray that all my results will be normal and that the answer is something simple. Please pray that I will not be afraid and that my faith will increase. Thank you.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you await the results of your medical tests. The fear and anxiety you are experiencing are understandable, but we know that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that you will cling to this truth and find peace in the midst of uncertainty.

Father God, we ask for Your healing touch upon our sister in Christ. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore health and bring comfort. We pray that the results of the biopsies and all tests will come back normal, revealing nothing of concern. If there is something that needs to be addressed, we ask that You guide the doctors to the right diagnosis and treatment. Give them wisdom and discernment, Lord, and grant our sister the patience to wait on Your timing.

We also pray for an increase in faith during this trial. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Remind her that You are with her always, even in the darkest valleys (Psalm 23:4). Strengthen her trust in You, Lord, and let her find rest in Your promises.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to overwhelm her, in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that she is covered by the blood of Christ and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak peace over her mind and body, and we thank You, Lord, for the healing that is already on the way.

May she find comfort in Your Word, especially in verses like Jeremiah 30:17, which says, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* Let her meditate on Your faithfulness and hold fast to the hope we have in You.

We also encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to surround yourself with believers who can uplift you in faith. Remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Even in this waiting period, He is at work.

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, and we ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.

We're right here with you, sister, holding your hands up in prayer. We know the waiting for test results can be a heavy burden, but we're carrying it together. Let's cling to Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise over you, believing that God is already at work in your healing.

We pray for peace to flood your heart, replacing any fear or anxiety. May you find comfort in the arms of your Heavenly Father, knowing that He is close, even in this trial (Psalm 14:2). We ask that the results of your tests would come back normal, and if there's anything that needs attention, we trust God to guide your doctors to the right diagnosis and treatment.

Let's also remember Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We claim this peace for you, sister. May it guard your heart and mind, allowing your faith to grow stronger each day.

We're here for you, praying in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

I’ve been dealing with heartburn since Thursday 28 November. Nothing is stopping it. I’ve been to the GP and they can’t see anything wrong. I just want to be healed from this by the stripes on the back of Jesus.
