You have healed my gut, nervous system, body, soul and spirit! You are the perfect Father! Jesus died for my sins, sickness & sorrows! I claim this healing and health from Jesus work on the cross! I am grateful! In Jesus name Amen

We join with you in this powerful prayer for healing and wholeness and we thank God for the work He has already done in rescuing you and healing your body, soul and spirit.

Your desire to fully see and accept the injustices of your childhood and family so that you can forgive and give it to the Lord is deeply biblical and courageous. God does not ask us to deny or minimize what happened, but to bring it into His light so He can heal it. He sees every wound and He is the perfect Father where earthly fathers and families have failed. As it is written, A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation Psalm 68:5, and You received not the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, Abba Father Romans 8:15.

We also hear your heart to grieve completely and that is holy work. Even Jesus wept at sorrow and loss John 11:35, and there is a time to weep, and a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and a time to dance Ecclesiastes 3:4. Grieving with the Lord allows Him to heal the brokenhearted. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. And The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We encourage you to continue to pour out your heart honestly before Him, for He invites us to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28.

Your prayer to forgive as you give these injustices to Him reflects the heart of God. Forgiveness does not mean what happened was right or that there were no consequences, it means we release the right to vengeance to God and trust His justice. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. And we forgive as God in Christ forgave us, Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32. As you forgive, you are set free from the burden and bitterness that can harm your own soul and body.

We rejoice with you in your faith that Jesus died for your sins, sickness and sorrows and that healing flows from His work on the cross. Surely he has borne our sickness and carried our suffering, yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:4-5, and He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds 1 Peter 2:24.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we thank You that You are the perfect Father and that You have rescued our dear one. We thank You for healing that has already come to gut, nervous system, body, soul and spirit, and we claim in faith the fullness of healing and health purchased by Jesus on the cross. Lord, we ask You to gently help our dear one to fully see and accept the truth of the injustices of childhood and family, not to be overwhelmed, but to be healed. Give courage to grieve completely with You, to weep and to release every sorrow into Your loving hands. Heal the brokenhearted and bind up every wound. Teach us to forgive as You have forgiven us, to release every hurt and every person into Your justice and mercy, so that no root of bitterness remains. Fill every empty and wounded place with Your peace, Your adoption, and Your wholeness. Make this one new in Christ, for If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17. We trust You to restore what was broken and to make all things work together for good Romans 8:28. We give You all the gratitude and glory for Your faithful love. In the mighty and healing name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We are thankful you brought this to the Lord so honestly. We hear both deep gratitude for how He has rescued and healed you, and a brave willingness to not look away from what was unjust and painful in your childhood and family.

Wanting to fully see it, grieve it, and then give it to Him is holy work, and it often happens more gradually than we expect. One thing that has helped many is understanding that forgiveness has two parts. There is a decision to release the debt to God and not carry the need to repay it, and then there is the slower emotional healing where resentment and fear are gently replaced over time with peace and compassion. The decision can be made even while the feelings are still tender, and the feelings often need repeated, honest moments with God before they settle.

It helps not to rush the grieving. Giving it to your perfect Father does not mean minimizing what happened, but naming it truthfully and then placing it in His hands, again and again as it surfaces.

If it would help, consider inviting one trusted pastor or Christian counselor to walk with you in this season, someone you can speak with unhurriedly as memories and grief come up, so you are not carrying the process alone.

Father, thank You for being a perfect Father to our friend and for the healing You have already brought to body, soul and spirit through Jesus. Give clarity to see what was unjust, courage to grieve it fully, and grace to forgive as You lead, day by day. Keep holding what is handed to You and bring wholeness in Your time. In Jesus name, Amen.

We rejoice with you in this prayer of thanksgiving and surrender, and we join our faith to yours before the throne of grace.

There is forgiveness with our God, and there is healing in the wings of Christ. You have rightly looked to Him who is the perfect Father, where earthly fathers and families so often fail, and to Jesus who bore not only our sins but our sicknesses and our sorrows upon the cross. The Gospel gives you an absolute forgiveness, the tally destroyed, the record of debt nailed to the cross, and with that forgiveness comes the removal of its consequences, for pardon and healing are one in the hand of our Redeemer.

We pray that the Lord will give you grace to see clearly what was unjust and grievous in your childhood and in your family, not to be held captive by it, but to grieve it fully and to give it wholly into His hands. Grief before the Lord is not faithlessness but honesty, and He who gathers your tears in His bottle will not despise a broken and contrite heart. As you bring each memory and wound to Him, may you know that He not only forgave you at the first, but continues daily to forgive and to heal, and that His forgiveness is eternal, for the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

We ask our heavenly Father to continue His healing work in you, in body and in soul, in gut and nervous system, in spirit and mind. Even the leaves of the tree of life are for healing, and the least thing about Christ has virtue in it to restore and to make whole. May He quiet your body, renew your strength, and make your nature fresh through the power of His blood and Spirit.

We pray also that as Christ has forgiven you so freely and completely, He will teach you to forgive even as you have been forgiven, not by your own strength, but by His life within you. Revenge is paltry, but forgiveness is great minded, and it is the way of freedom.

May the Lord confirm to your heart this certainty, that there is forgiveness, there is healing, and there is wholeness with Him, now and forever, through Jesus Christ our Lord. We thank Him that He has rescued you, and we ask Him to keep you rooted in gratitude and in the finished work of the cross until that day when the inhabitant shall no more say, I am sick, for the people shall be forgiven their iniquity.

In the name of Jesus our perfect Redeemer we pray, Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬
