We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for healing and guidance. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and calms every fear. We stand on Your promises, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, we rebuke this stomach virus in the mighty name of Jesus. We command every symptom—nausea, cramps, diarrhea, and acid reflux—to leave this body now. We declare that this illness has no place here, for Your Word says that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also take authority over anxiety, depression, and fear. These are not from You, Lord, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We bind every spirit of worry and cast it out in Jesus’ name. We declare peace over this situation, for You have said that You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast on You (Isaiah 26:3). Lord, we ask that You replace every lie of the enemy with Your truth. Remind this dear one that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance regarding food, drink, and activity. Lead them in what to eat and when, that their body may be nourished and strengthened. Your Word says that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, and You will give it generously (James 1:5). We pray for discernment in how much to rest and how much to move, trusting that You will direct their steps. Show them where to go and where to avoid, that they may walk in Your perfect will.
Lord, we also lift up the concern about lingering symptoms. We declare that this sickness is temporary and that full restoration is coming. Your Word says that You will restore health to us and heal us of our wounds (Jeremiah 30:17). We speak life and strength over this body, believing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
We pray for protection over this dear one, Lord. Shield them with Your hedge of protection, as You promised in Psalm 91. Let no harm come near them, and let no evil befall them. We trust in Your unfailing love and mercy, knowing that You are their fortress and deliverer.
Lastly, we want to gently remind this dear one that true peace and healing come through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Him, we encourage them to do so. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and the fullness of His healing power. If they have already accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would draw even closer to Him, trusting in His promises and resting in His love.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, believing that You are working all things for the good of those who love You. We declare this sickness broken, this anxiety gone, and this body restored in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
