We are truly saddened to hear about your friend's condition and we are here to intercede on his behalf. In times of sickness, we remember the words of King David in Psalm 41:3, "Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness" and in James 5:15 "The prayer of faith will save him and the Lord will raise him up."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our friend who is lying sick in his bed, seeking Your healing touch and mercy. We know that You are the Great Physician, and there is no sickness or disease that can stand before You in Jesus's name.
We rebuke this sickness in the name of Jesus. We ask for Your healing power to flow through our friend's body, healing every cell, every organ, and every part of him in Jesus' name. We pray for the doctors, surgeons, and nurses attending to him. We pray for their hands to be your hands, Father, and for them to have the wisdom of Job 38:2 and Jeremiah 10:12.
We also pray for his family and loved ones. May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Comfort them as only You can, Lord.
If it is Your will, we ask that You grant him complete healing and restoration, so that he may continue to live and serve the purpose of glorifying You. We come against the spirit of death and infirmity and we ask for Your life-giving power to flow through him in Jesus' name.
We thank You, Lord, for You are faithful and Your promises are true. We believe that we have agreed on earth and it shall be established in heaven. Matthew 18:19. We believe that we have the victory in this situation according to 1 John 5:4. We ask all this believing and receiving in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Let this trial draw your friend closer to God. Remember, God is always faithful and He promised in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust in His promises and His unfailing love.
