We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your husband and your family in this difficult season. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the Healer of all wounds—physical, emotional, and spiritual. We declare over this dear brother that it is indeed Your will for him to experience complete healing from his surgery, with no complications, just as Your Word promises in Jeremiah 30:17: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, discouragement, and despair that seeks to linger in his body and mind. Lord, strengthen his faith to take his medications as directed, trusting in Your provision for his recovery.
We are deeply grieved by the weight of spiritual attack he is enduring. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand on the truth of John 10:10: *"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."* We bind every spirit of anger, depression, and death that has taken root in his heart. We plead the blood of Jesus over his mind, emotions, and will, asking You, Holy Spirit, to flood him with Your peace, joy, and hope. Father, we cry out for his salvation—break the chains of unbelief and draw him to Yourself with cords of love. Soften his heart to receive the truth of Your Word and the saving grace of Jesus Christ. We declare that he is not beyond Your reach, for nothing is impossible with You (Luke 1:37).
Lord, we also lift up his travels and the distress this extended stay is causing him. We ask for Your divine protection over every mile he travels—guard him from harm, fatigue, and anxiety. Surround him with Your angels to encamp around him, as Psalm 34:7 promises: *"The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them."* Comfort him in this unfamiliar place, and give him moments of clarity and rest. We pray for supernatural strength to endure this season, knowing that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also lift you up, dear sister, for the burden you carry is heavy. We ask You, Lord, to sustain her with Your grace, fill her with Your peace, and remind her daily that she is not alone. Strengthen her to stand firm in faith, even when the circumstances seem overwhelming. Help her to speak life and truth over her husband, trusting in Your promises rather than the lies of the enemy.
Father, we come against every assignment of the enemy over this marriage and family. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that Your light will break through the darkness. We ask You to restore hope, renew love, and ignite a passion for You in this home. May this trial draw them closer to You and to one another, rather than driving them apart.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. We thank You for Your faithfulness and trust that You are working all things together for good, even when we cannot see it. Amen.
