Healing, salvation, positive outcome of hearing

MomsPetunia

Humble Servant of All
In Jesus’s name, please pray it is God’s will to heal my husband in all ways. Serious non-stop spiritual attack. Anger & hatred out of control, scaring me, lashing out at me. I will not respond. I know how much pain he’s in & distressed about everything. I will not engage poor behavior, but I’m extremely concerned. He comments daily he’d rather be dead. He has an upcoming important hearing. Pray for a favorable outcome. Pray he doesn’t do something stupid, he’s talking crazy like he doesn’t care & is going to make a scene. Please save him. All I can do is pray & ask for prayers. I feel so helpless! Holy Spirit please intervene immediately. Thank you & God Bless.

We lift this heavy burden to the Lord with hearts full of compassion and urgency, standing in the gap for your husband and your marriage. The spiritual attack you describe is real and fierce, but we know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The anger, hatred, and despair your husband is experiencing are not from God, for the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

First and foremost, we rebuke the spirit of despair, anger, and death that is oppressing your husband. We command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is written, "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to him and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10). We declare that your husband is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift up his upcoming hearing, asking for divine favor and wisdom. May the Lord grant him clarity of mind, a spirit of calm, and the right words to speak. We pray that the outcome will be just and favorable, according to God’s perfect will. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). Let every decision made in that hearing be guided by the hand of God, and may it bring relief and resolution to your husband’s burdens.

Your husband’s words about not caring and wanting to make a scene are deeply concerning, and we take them seriously. We pray that the Lord would intervene immediately, as you have asked, and that He would bind any spirit of recklessness or self-destruction. We declare that your husband is precious in God’s sight, and his life has purpose and hope. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that the Holy Spirit would surround him with His presence, bringing comfort, conviction, and a renewed desire to live.

We also pray for you, dear sister, as you endure this trial with such faith and restraint. It is not easy to watch someone you love suffer, especially when their pain is directed toward you. But your decision not to engage in poor behavior is wise and honors God. We encourage you to continue standing on the truth of God’s Word, even when it feels like you are standing alone. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" (Galatians 6:9). Lean on the Lord for strength, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.

We must also address the spiritual warfare at play here. The enemy wants to destroy your husband, your marriage, and your faith. But we serve a God who is victorious over all darkness. We pray that your husband would turn his heart fully to Jesus, if he has not already, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If he has strayed from his faith, we ask that the Lord would draw him back with cords of love. If he has never truly surrendered his life to Christ, we pray for his salvation this very moment. "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved—you and your household" (Acts 16:31).

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support. You do not have to walk through this alone. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, offer wisdom, and provide encouragement. "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). The body of Christ is here to lift you up in your time of need.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister and her husband. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon him in every way—spirit, soul, and body. Break the chains of anger, hatred, and despair that have taken hold of him. Fill him with Your peace, Your love, and Your hope. We rebuke every spirit of destruction and death, and we declare that Your life is at work in him.

Father, we pray for his upcoming hearing. Grant him favor, wisdom, and a calm spirit. Let the outcome be just and in accordance with Your will. Protect him from making any rash decisions or speaking words that would bring harm. Surround him with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be his comfort and strength.

We pray for his salvation, Father. If he does not know You as his Lord and Savior, draw him to Yourself. Let him experience the love and forgiveness that can only be found in Jesus Christ. If he has strayed from You, restore him, Lord. Bring him back to the fold, for You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one who is lost.

And for this dear sister, Lord, give her strength, patience, and unwavering faith. Help her to continue trusting in You, even when the circumstances seem impossible. Let her feel Your presence and know that she is not alone. Provide her with godly support and encouragement, and use this trial to draw her closer to You.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has overcome the world. Amen.

Hold fast to your faith, dear sister. The Lord is fighting for you and your husband, even now. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep standing on the promises of God. He is faithful, and He will not fail you.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart’s burden to lift your husband before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to bring complete healing—spirit, soul, and body—according to His perfect will. We have prayed fervently against the spiritual attack that seeks to overwhelm him, asking God to break every chain of anger, despair, and hopelessness. We’ve asked the Holy Spirit to intervene with power, surrounding your husband with peace, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose, especially as he faces this critical hearing.

We are holding fast to the promise that God hears the cries of His children and that He is able to do exceedingly more than we could ask or imagine. We’ve asked Him to soften your husband’s heart, to draw him close, and to reveal His love in a way that pierces through the darkness. We’ve also prayed for you, dear sister, that you would feel the Lord’s presence and strength as you continue to stand in faith, refusing to engage with fear but instead trusting in His sovereignty.

If the Lord has already moved in miraculous ways—bringing healing, peace, or a favorable outcome—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report from you. If the battle still rages, please know that we are not stepping away. We will continue to lift your husband and this situation in prayer, believing that God is at work even when we cannot see it. You are not alone, and you are not helpless; the body of Christ stands with you, interceding on your behalf.

May the Lord bless you with His comfort, wisdom, and unwavering hope as you press into Him. We pray that your husband would experience the transforming power of Jesus Christ in every area of his life and that this trial would ultimately draw him closer to the Savior. We continue to pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
