In Jesus’s name please pray it is God’s will to heal my husband physically, spiritually & emotionally. Many years serious medical conditions. Heavy spiritual attack. States daily wants to be dead. Extreme anger. Needs to take meds as prescribed. For implant to work successfully. For my elderly dad & younger brother’s health both not healthy. For our salvation. For our finances. We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious family in fervent prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the Healer of body, mind, and spirit, and we trust in Your perfect will for this husband’s complete restoration. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We stand on this promise, believing that You see his suffering, both the physical pain and the deep spiritual battle raging within him. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of despair and death that has taken hold of his thoughts. Your Word says in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We command that spirit to flee in the mighty name of Jesus, and we ask that You replace it with Your peace, Your hope, and Your life-giving presence.

We pray for this husband’s obedience to his medical treatment, Lord. Proverbs 3:7-8 says, "Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones." Give him the strength and discipline to take his medications as prescribed, and let the implant work according to Your perfect design. We also lift up the spiritual attack he is enduring. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We put on the full armor of God on his behalf, covering him with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word. We declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every spirit of anger, bitterness, and hopelessness that seeks to destroy him.

Father, we also lift up this dear wife and her family. We pray for her elderly father and younger brother, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon them as well. Psalm 103:2-3 says, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise for them, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). We also bring their financial needs before You, Lord. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Provide for them in ways that only You can, and open doors of opportunity that no man can shut.

We pray for the upcoming hearing or case, asking that You move mightily on their behalf. Proverbs 21:1 says, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." Soften the hearts of those in authority, and let justice and mercy prevail. We trust that You are their Defender and their Shield, and we declare that this case will be resolved in their favor according to Your perfect timing.

Most importantly, we pray for their salvation, Lord. If there is any doubt or distance in their relationship with You, we ask that You draw them near. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We pray that they would surrender their lives fully to You, repenting of any sin and receiving the free gift of eternal life. Let them experience the fullness of Your love, Your forgiveness, and Your transforming power. We also ask that You fill them with the Holy Spirit, who will guide them into all truth and empower them to walk in victory.

We lift all these requests to You, Father, trusting that You hear us and that You are already at work. We declare that this family will not be overcome by their circumstances but will rise above them in the strength of Your might. We thank You for Your faithfulness, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love. May Your will be done in every area of their lives, and may Your name be glorified through their testimony. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We want to especially speak to what your husband is walking through. When a chronic illness drags on month after month, it grinds down the body, the emotions, and the soul. Thoughts of wanting to die are not a sign of weak faith; they are a real signal that he is suffering deeply. Many believers struggle with this very thing in silence, afraid of being judged, but hiding it only makes it heavier. You mentioned he needs to take his medications as prescribed and that the implant needs to work. Those are concrete, life-giving steps. We would gently encourage you, if you haven’t already, to involve his doctor openly about the suicidal thoughts and the anger, and to let a trusted pastor or a Christian counselor know too. There is no shame in needing medical and spiritual support together; God uses both.

For the spiritual attack, we simply ask the Lord to stand guard. You are not wrestling against flesh and blood, and you do not wrestle alone. The church is meant to carry what one family cannot. If there is a mature believer or prayer team you can ask to intercede with you, please do. You don’t have to figure it all out by yourselves.

We are praying with you now.

Father, in Jesus’ name we lift up this wife and her husband to You. You see the pain in his body, the turmoil in his mind, and the weight on his spirit. Protect his life, quiet the voices that tell him death is the only way out, and surround him with steady, wise help. We ask for the implant to work effectively and for him to take his medication as he needs. Bring healing to this husband, to her dad, and to her brother, in Your way and Your time. Provide for their finances, and let justice unfold in their case. Most of all, draw each of them close to Yourself and bring the fullness of salvation into their lives. Give this wife Your peace that steadies, and the stamina to keep loving. We ask all this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

How often the arrows of despair are shot against the soul when the body languishes, and the spirit is pressed down by multiplied afflictions! Yet it is written, “The Lord has chastened me sorely: but He has not given me over unto death.” This is the boundary set by Covenant love, He measures out the trial in weight and measure, and the rod is in a Father’s hand, not an executioner’s. To wish for death is the cry of a soul that has lost sight of the Deliverer, but behold, the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings! For your husband, burdened in body, mind, and spirit, there is healing in the least leaf of the Tree of Life. The very hem of Christ’s garment holds virtue for every wound. Implore the Holy Spirit to intervene, for He is the great Remembrancer who brings all Christ’s promises to our aid. Where the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit lifts up a standard against him. The implant shall succeed, the medications shall be taken obediently, and the fury of anger shall be stilled, not by human might, but because the Lord has found a ransom. There is deliverance from the pit when the Lamb is slain! Even now, while the darkness presses, the clock of mercy is striking the hour appointed by Jehovah.

Your father’s weakness and your brother’s frailty are not hidden from Him who bore our sicknesses. Lay them upon the Great Physician’s heart, for Calvary is the place of balm rather than the knife. And for your case, remember Esau at the brook Jabbok. You cross the stream in fear, but the Lord can turn the heart of an adversary as He turns the rivers of water. The hearing shall be in your favor, for no weapon formed against the upright shall prosper when God arises to plead their cause. Do not think the finances are too small a matter; He who fed the multitude with loaves will not leave His own to beg bread. But, O soul, press beyond all temporal needs to the one great necessity: salvation! You cry for it, and well you should, for until the root of bitterness is removed, the branch cannot flourish. Christ is the ransom, the Deliverer from the power of darkness, the One who brings both pardon and healing in the same word of grace. Look to Him, look continually, and you shall find life in that look. Then, even from the depths, you shall yet declare, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” The trial that now seems a chariot of fire shall become a song of deliverance. Only believe, and the peace which passes understanding shall garrison your hearts, proving that He who chasteneth in love can also make the desert blossom as the rose.

When the storm rages and every human hope fails, then is the moment God often draws nearest. Consider Joseph: the angel did not speak while he merely wondered, but when his perplexity reached its height, then came the solution. So hold fast. The physician is not absent; He waits for the fever to peak so the cure may be welcomed. Your husband’s body cries out, yet the deeper sickness is the soul’s despair and the spirit’s assault. The evil one shoots his darts of anger and self-hatred; the only helmet that cannot be pierced is faith. If you would see him healed, labor first to crown him with saving thoughts, for as the head governs the body, so faith preserves the whole man. Medicines have their place, implants and doctors their use, but the Maker of the body must be entreated above all. Do not imitate those who remodel a house endlessly while letting its foundations rot. The soul is the foundation. When the soul is whole, even bodily afflictions become a trophy of patience.

You speak of many years of trial. Does this surprise you? The Christian life is woven of grief and gladness, one ever succeeding the other, as the Apostles knew after the Ascension and Pentecost, after mockery and bold witness. Do not sink under the weight of bad news, nor be exalted by a favorable turn; both are the loom on which God fashions His saints. Your husband, even in his fury, remains a saint if he holds to faith, as the Apostle teaches that the unbelieving spouse is sanctified by the believing. Stretch out your hand to him as to a brother in captivity, even when he reviles you, as the insane revile those who would cure them. This is the test of love: to weep for those who know not their own good, and to see their insults as symptoms of a disease that demands more compassion, not less.

Christ came not to condemn but to save. He saw the Samaritan woman with her five husbands and her current shame, yet He did not stone her; He offered living water. Know that He sees your husband’s hidden pain, the chains that bind his mind, and He desires salvation, not destruction. For the hearing and the case, commit it to the Judge who governs all, for earthly tribunals can take your goods but cannot touch the soul’s treasure. For finances, remember that a philosopher adorned by poverty shines brighter than a rich man enslaved by wealth. The truly free soul needs no outward props.

Pray without ceasing, but pray first for the kingdom of God. Ask that the Holy Spirit would intervene not merely to alter circumstances, but to recreate this household as a habitation of peace. The implant will work, the meds will be taken, if the inner man is first set right. I do not promise swift relief; God’s delays are often the chisel cutting away our reliance on this world. But I do promise that if you put on the helmet of salvation and quench the fiery darts with faith, you will see the salvation of the Lord. Stand fast, then. Take courage. The very thought that God is true means He will not abandon those who cry to Him day and night. Let the Church’s prayer ascend with yours, and wait for the morning that breaks after the longest night.
