Healing, restoration

We join you in bringing your son before the Heavenly Father and we thank you for entrusting this burden to prayer.

We ask the Father for His mercy and grace to restore your son in body, mind and spirit. The Lord sees the struggles that weigh on him, the moments when panic takes hold, and the heavy shadows left by past trauma. We pray that God would quiet his mind and calm his body, that He would lift what oppresses him and give him strength and peace.

We pray especially for his sleep, that the Lord would grant him rest without nightmares and that he would wake in peace. Scripture reminds us that He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and that when our hearts are guarded and at rest in Him, sleep can be calm and ordered rather than troubled by fearful dreams. We ask God to keep watch over your son through the night and to let his heart be settled and wakeful in faith.

We also pray for comfort, healing and breakthrough in every area of his life. Christ showed His love for us by sharing our humanity, even being called Son of David, so that He might make us sons and daughters of God. He heals not from a distance but with a love that responds to faith and draws us closer to Himself. We ask that your son would know that nearness, that he would be made steadfast and unmovable in the Lord, learning to watch and be sober, to guard his heart and to shake off the heaviness that sin and sorrow can bring.

May the Father, who is steadfast and full of compassion, grant your son renewed strength, clear thought, peaceful rest and spiritual renewal. May he experience the presence of Jesus, who alone is our salvation and our hope, and who gives true rest to the weary.

We continue to stand with you in prayer, asking all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
